I made reservations at this place for my mom to get cancer treatment since we live in Florida.

The minute we got in the elevator it smelled so bad like cigarettes and mariguana, the hallways and the bedrooms smells so bad as well.
This place is so dirty and you have nothing but thugs and crack heads hanging around. We are so fearful for our safety! The woman at the front desk is so rude to top it off.

Some of your guests were smoking cigarettes and mariguana all night, the smoke was so bad that it was coming inside our bedroom through the crocks of the doors. My mom was so sick to her stomach and I had a headache all night. The reason why we stayed here is because I was supposed to cook our meals but, as soon as we got in the room I called for pots, pans and utensils and the front desk told me that they had none and the order that they put in has not come in yet. I had made reservations for a week, but we cannot take another day of this place.

This hotel room was, bar-none, the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. I have lived in a ESA for work before, so I trusted the name, but never again. I have traveled much of the world, and all of the states, and this was by far the worst. The room was in absolute disrepair, it was dirty, and on top of that, it had cockroaches. From broken glass outside the front door, to a rancid smell throughout the hotel. If I had the choice to get my money back before staying, I surely would have, but I was late, and I was traveling, and just didn't have the time or energy. The cherry on top was the little note with the snacks with my name on it that let me know they came in after my reservation, looked at the room, and said "good enough". Never again.

My children and I needed a place to stay for one week until my new home was ready to move in, so I decided to go to extended-stay Northlake. I thought It would be a nice clean place for us to stay for one week, but to my surprise, it was the most horrible experience very Very deplorable conditions. Let me just start up by saying the whole entire place has a very unclean unfresh file odor. It is roach invested Not worth the money that they charge, It’s pretty much housing for crackheads, prostitutes Drug addicts because that is all I seen in my 11 hours stay there. I couldn’t get myself to stay there a whole 24 hours let alone one week, The rooms are not clean properly and I when I went to go tell the guy at the front desk. All he did was blaming on housekeeping And make excuses for a while the entire place looks and smells the way it does. If it had not been for my children being so tired and sleepy, I would have left immediately but because of that we suffer through 11 hours Of nastiness. The first one we were in, I guess housekeeping had took Part of the refrigerator shelves and bands out set them in a tub with nasty food molding I never went back to clean it, and that was the room that I was given. I immediately went downstairs to speak with the guy who’s there and as I stayed earlier, all you had for me was excuses as to why the room was nasty because he thought housekeeping had cleaned it And to tell me that I can’t get mad at him for something that he didn’t know, I was in given key cards to another room. That was a little bit better but still very nasty roaches were crawling on the floor on the chairs on the couch in the air vents and on the counter my kids and I took a shower change our clothes And immediately Took all of our belongings back to my truck Because we did not want roaches crawling in our bags. There are people arguing and fighting in the next room, which was very scary, Then some random guy came and banged on the door asking did we see anyone go in his room Because the workers are always going in his room, taking his stuff I didn’t open the door. I kindly told him that we literally had just walked into the room and I didn’t know nor did I see anyone in the hallway as we were coming up. He was very aggressive and sounded very, very angry Cursing very loudly in the hallway, There was urine in the elevator. The carpet look like it had been cleaned in years. It was just a very horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at Extended stay in Northlake That place need to be remodeled And a deep cleaning. The only good part about it was meeting the manager. I don’t remember his name, but he was a very nice gentleman, and when I show him the videos and pictures of what my children and I experience, he kindly gave me a full refund And explain to me that there are some people that have been living there for years and utilize the extended stay as their real homes. FYI to the extended-stay staff And or management Please don’t get on here, trying to reply, saying that I’m lying About my experience because I do still have the pictures and videos and have no problem posting them, Just fixed the problems that you guys have going on in your facility and stop making excuses for why it’s happening, It’s not just housekeeping fault it’s the whole staff fault collectively. There’s no I in team Everybody have dropped the ball on that facility, including management Because if housekeeping not doing their job properly fire everybody on the housekeeping staff and hire new staff to get the job done the right way people who don’t want to work and do their job effectively and sufficiently shouldn’t get paid simple as that…. Having unclean and unsanitaryrooms bathrooms, Beds, Sheets towels and Furniture Could cause bacterial infections, Hepatitis And people to get really sick.

I booked via booking.com and the hotel cancelled my reservation due to them overbooking their rooms. I called to speak with the manager ā€œMarcusā€ and he promised me that he will save a room for me bc I was traveling with my mother from Florida arriving at 5am. Well, he lied. Straight lied to me for reason. I didn’t ask him to accommodate me in no way, I just wanted an understanding why my reservation was cancelled. This cause me to have nowhere to check in for hours!! Spend more money than expected and was very upsetting. He needs to do better or at the very least be removed from the front desk and do housekeeping if that.

The room we had was absolutely disgusting. The couch was stained, the floors were so dirty it would turn your feet black, there were stains on the walls. The whole hotel smells like weed and filth. There were people walking around with guns in their waistbands. The gap under the entrance of our room was so big people could clearly look into our room. Our skin was itchy from just being in the room. I have never experienced anything like it. Here is a picture of the arm of the couch. I wouldn’t even sit on the couch it was so gross.

My partner and I stayed there from 10/14 to 10/15. The room was absolutely dirty, nothing was wiped down, the kitchen counters were sticky, the cupboards had dirty and sticky substance all over them, and built up dirt all on the handles. The bathroom was decent, but the bracket that held the curtains was falling off the wall. Upon leaving the next day i had bites on my legs, presumably from bed-bugs.

I was annoyed at all of that, but what makes it worse was upon checking out on 10/15 i was told 3-5 days for my 100$ deposit refund, which at the latest should have been 10/22. Upon calling up, i was informed they "forgot" to put the refund in process and that i would have to wait another 5-7 business days. I continued to say "Thats messed up that i have to wait for my money because of a issue you made" and the girl hung up on me.

i would rate 0/5 if i could due to the customer service, the bed bugs, the dirty room. It is NOT worth the 100$ a night that i paid. I would have rather stayed at Motel 6.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS OR A DIRTY ROOM!
