What a fantastic breakfast! We’re here in New Haven on a college tour and on a whim decided to pop into The Corner Restaurant. The decor is rather eclectic and is filled with antique knickknacks. Service was fast and super efficient and kind. Great menu knowledge by the staff. I had the duck and my son had the empanada. Both are extraordinarily delicious.

I can say without hesitation that this is the most you eat breakfast menu I’ve had in forever. I would strongly urge you to come and taste the magic!

I can always appreciate a very warm home like eatery. I was invited out for breakfast/brunch to this cute spot . The menu was hefty which I did not mind because I like to have plenty of choices. I sat at the bar area. Oh I forgot to mention the festive drink menu. so very cute. Now for the order, regular french toast and the African hash. Both dishes were very well crafted. French toast was thick cut and warm . African hash which was featured in peoples magazine . That dish consisted of spicy beef lentil hash served over an english muffin topped with a poached egg ( you can have your egg any way you would like), crispy potato carvings and bearnaise sauce with home fries on the side. i enjoyed it much. I was full after my french toast I was looking forward to the African hash. There are several dishes that have been recognized. I almost tried the duck wrap which was on food network, but I was not gangsta enough but I heard it is very good. My head kept following every dish that came from the kitchen because everything looked so good. Service was great by the way. I will def be returning.

The corner is my go-to spot every time I’m in Connecticut! The food is always fresh and flavorful, but the standout for me is the African Hash—absolutely delicious and packed with so much flavor. Pairing it with their spiced chai makes for the perfect meal. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a must-visit. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by!

We visited Milford recently and stopped in here for breakfast. What a delight it was! Incredible service and such a diverse menu. I ordered the African hash and it was so delicious, and the truffle and parmesan home fries on special that day were amazing! My husband ordered the pan seared pork belly and my daughter had the french toast trio, and both raved over their meals. The regular coffee was delicious and they had some great specialty coffees and hot cocoas on the monthly rotation. It was so cozy and quaint inside, and we cannot wait to return!

Riding down the 95 and thought we should stop somewhere for breakfast. We definitely made the right decision. Food was amazing. I’ve wanted peaches in my breakfast for a while, and the peaches and cream French toast was nothing like I have had anywhere, but soooo delicious. My husband had the pork belly, so many flavors but soooo deliciously tasty. Servers were attentive and always coming around to top off the coffee. They have special seasonal type of dishes which we promised to come back. A very laid back ambiance, looks like someone’s living room. Nothing fancy, but people kept coming in. It’s about the food here. They have been featured in tv shows and I could see why. Next time we head north, definitely coming back to try the other menu items.

A while back so I don’t remember the dish names but everything was pretty good. There’s some free street parking outside. The wait took a bit, since there was a long line. Seating is a bit cramped as the interior is small. Overall, I think I was mostly happy as someone else paid for it.

I recently visited a corner café for brunch, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The café was bustling with activity, but the service was cordial and attentive. I ordered the spinach and feta cheese omelet, along with a mango juice and coffee.

The omelet was a bit on the salty side, but the flavors were still enjoyable. The mango juice was refreshing, and the coffee complemented the meal well. The environment was inviting, making it a great spot to relax. With reasonable prices and a nice ambiance, I would recommend this café for anyone looking for a cozy brunch spot.
