Holy smokes, this place is awesome!
I got the burnt ends in a bowl with Mac n cheese and baked beans. My wife got the brisket, Cole slaw and Mac n cheese. It was really, so good.
Place was nice, we love the blues!
The staff were so nice and they all seemed genuinely happy - which I think shows in the food and the service.
I absolutely highly recommend. Great food, blues, good people, 10/10.

The service was excellent, sides were pretty ok, but the brisket and burnt ends were inedible. Let's start with the brisket. For some reason it was smashed up and served in a pile instead of sliced. No options between point and flat. No bark, the world's tiniest smoke ring and not one speck of fat to be seen. It was as dry, tough and tasteless as an overcooked pot roast. The burnt ends were so hard and chewy, I could not pierce it with my fork. To be completely fair, I lived in Texas for several years so my bar is pretty high. But even by New England standards, this was just a shame. I don't know who convinced the owner that their bbq was restaurant worthy, but maybe rethink your bbq game.

Great BBQ and beer selection at this historic location. Their Mac and cheese was delicious with extra cheese and bacon. The ribs are tender and the brisket has great smoked flavor. The cornbread could be a dessert, it was so good. The local BBQ sauces add just the right sweet flavor to each bite. The separate beer and wine bar was staffed by a knowledgeable and friendly gentleman who provided good drink recommendations and kept the dining area tidy. We will definitely come again the next time we visit Colchester.

It was my my first visit. I ordered the ribs and collard greens.The ribs were chewy the gristle was hard which told me it wasn't slow cooked long enough to break it down and the collard greens were SO SPICY couldn't eat them. Not everyone likes super hot, a little kick would be ok but I couldn't even eat it. Five dollars in the garbage. My ribs are in the oven now. Tip. Allow your customers to add spice as needed.
The restaurant is clean and the woman who took my order was fantastic.

Have eaten there twice and it is very good. Try the burnt ends! The portion size is good. I didn't like their collards but then, they are hard to cook just right. The apple dessert is served with fresh whipped cream and delicious. The restaurant itself is meticulous, perfectly clean surfaces. The staff was extremely professional, worth a big tip. But the stars are really for the food. Once you try it, you will be back often.

Awesome food. We were in town for the UConn graduation and picked up trays of brisket, chicken, baked beans, bacon Mac & cheese, corn bread and rolls to bring back to our AirBNB. It was about $250 for all that. It was excellent, really good. Super friendly and highly recommend it.

Wow......another hidden gem. Finished up my job, and literally, 26 steps away was OZ n Bones BBQ. I was greeted with a friendly server, and she suggested the grooviness. The food, service, and atmosphere were supremely awesome. If you're ever in the Colchester area.......check this place out. Oh Yeaahh!!

Goodness Gracious! Great BBQ and even better people! Genuinely positive vibes. Got waited on by one of the owners, and met the other owner when he kindly stopped at our table to say thank you for coming and stayed to chat for a while. Seems like this is a nice place to work, staff was happy and gracious. BBQ was great! Reasonable pricing, large portions. We tried the Pulled Chicken Oz Bowl, Burnt Ends with potato salad and baked beans, Brisket Sandwich with potato salad. Will return & would recommend 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
