We were there for a cheer competition, we got there early so we could swim in the pool. The pool was nice, when we went to our room the restaurant was loud with a live band. It wasn’t an issue after 10 pm. The food there was ok but my girls and I wish it was a pub style as it is only Italian food so not much to choose from and it was pricey. The hostess in the restaurant there was less than friendly in the pm and am. The hotel desk staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our tv stopped working, I went down to the desk because she was the only one working unfortunately and she came up to try and help us. Once she saw our tv was acting up, she quickly switched our room to next door so we wouldn’t have to lug anything up or down the elevator. She was an absolute sweetheart! Checking in and out was super easy as well!

We went into room and the bathroom in particular smelled of smoke. We went to the front desk but were informed the place was sold out. I went back to my room and as I was unpacking found a cigarette in the bedside table drawer. I informed the front desk about this at checkout. This made me question if that room was even really cleaned between guests. I contacted this hotel via email and received no response.

We choose this hotel due to it's proximity to the Garde because we were attending a show and it did not disappoint. We will stay here again and recommend it. The food and service at the restaurant was amazing. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I absolutely love staying here and getting to eat at the local restaurants! Check in was super quick and my room was so clean and smelled so fresh. The pool was fantastic; not too cold but not too warm. The staff here are amazing and provided me with extra blankets/ toiletries! I highly recommend this spot if you want some good relaxation and a place to just walk around the town.

Riddhi at the desk was fantastic. She made me feel like I was home. The room was perfectly set up. The bathroom was very clean. The pool and fitness center look good even though I didn’t use them. The restaurant had a great selection for lunch and dinner. Will be back if ever in the area. Great job Holiday Inn New London.

We stayed for one night to check out the hotel and then extended our stay for a month. Our home is being rebuilt so my family of 8 chose thing location to relocate to for the interim. They gave us two rooms on the same floor. One with a very spacious living room and a king size bed and the other room has two queen size beds. Truthfully the size of the space is not adequate for 6 kids and two adults and for this reason we considered switching hotels. However the staff at this location is unparalleled. Enough so that we decided it was worth it to forego finding a hotel with potentially more space that it specifically for long term stays.

Due to delay in work on our house we’ve extended our stay again and have no regrets. Our air conditioning stopped working in one of our rooms and we mentioned it to Jake and let him know there was no rush to fix it and he had the unit replaced the very next day. I was floored by how efficient and seamless it was. He coordinated a time when we would be out of the room, asked our permission before letting himself and the maintenance personnel in and had it up in running before we got back. Beyond any of my expectations.

Our stay was great. The room was clean and roomy. The pool was larger than expected and wonderful to utilize. It is also about 8-9 minutes from Lawrence and Memorial, which was a huge added bonus so we didn't have to drive far to the hospital (which is why we stayed).
