I cannot recommend this Residence Inn enough! It’s one of the cleanest, most comfortable, and accommodating places I’ve ever stayed. Despite some bad reviews I saw before coming, my experience here has been absolutely incredible, and I truly don’t understand the negativity.

The staff are some of the nicest, most attentive people I’ve encountered—they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything a family needs. The breakfast is fresh and delicious, and throughout the day, they offer thoughtful touches like cookies and strawberry- or lemon-infused water in the lobby.

One moment I have to highlight: we were watching a football game in the lobby with my 6-year-old daughter, and she started to get a little bored. The lovely woman at the front desk noticed and brought over a little drawing kit with colored pencils and printed coloring pages for her. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture that truly stood out.

This place has exceeded all expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and family-friendly.

overall, I’d give it a 4.8 out of 5.

The man out front was very pleasant. Very welcoming very helpful and cheerful. Check-in wasn’t until 4 however we arrived around 12 and he made an accommodations for us. The room was huge and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes. The pool was heated! A big plus in our book. A decent size as well. 24 hour gym, a nice one!! FREE breakfast the next morning was amazing, a lot of options, great food. FREE cookies as well sitting on the desk, those are amazing.

The con is minuscule, but the door to the room would not shut unless you use your key card whether you’re in or out. It was very inconvenient.

Also, the next morning after breakfast around 7:30 we want to use the pool, he forgot to open it so once we went in, the water was still with a film over the top. Although it was heated It was quite dirty, you could tell there was no filter system running, hairballs and bugs inside.

Also, I woke up with rashes all over my hands and knees. Could’ve been from the sheets, the pool or just a coincidence

Overall though I would hundred percent stay again

Everything is a bit dated, but the rooms have all the basic things you need for an extended stay including a small fridge/freezer, basic cookware, and dish ware. Not much around this Residence Inn except a little market area with the Jealous Monk Brewery (15 mins by foot).

Breakfast is a standard spread of bagels/toast, small selection of yogurt, some sort of eggs, waffle maker, cereals, and oatmeal.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Note, walls were a bit thin and the hotel does allow dogs, so every now and then, there were some barks.

Stay away from this hotel. As a Bonvoy elite member this is more like a cheap motel. The WiFi didn’t work and the front desk wasn’t helpful at all. Turned on the AC and it sounded like a jet engine it was so loud and kept me up all night. It hasn’t been updated. It’s a very dated hotel that’s needs to be torn down and completely built again. Absolutely one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at and can’t believe this is a Marriott property.

Stayed here for a night away while taking our son to the aquarium. The staff and service were great, but the property itself was really run down. The furniture inside the room was damaged, the TVs didn't work (and when they did the channel selection was very basic), the bathroom was dirty, and there was what looked like vomit in the lobby by the ATM. The bed in the room was as hard as a rock - probably would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. Overall, not worth the money to stay here for a night. Should have just driven home.

It was a good place to stay for the price. The furniture was a little outdated and scuffed up. The dehumidifier in the bathroom made a lot of rattling noises when you turned the light on. It still was a decent place to stay.

My spouse and I decided to break away from tradition this Thanksgiving and instead of cooking, cleaning and entertaining we went to this Residence Inn.|| Management first of all greeted us with hot cocoa, marshmallows and seasonal Starbucks coffee. Also, they prepared for all guests a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings and dessert. ||We were so appreciative of the above and beyond gesture by staff and management. ||The property is just minutes away from Mohegan Sun Casino and the Foxwoods Mall/Casino. We would go there again. You guys rock!!!

Place is a dump. Rooms are in desperate need of a face lift. Front desk was zero help in getting a crib or a rollaway cot. It took three phone calls for someone to finally tell me they don’t have cots. Pool was closed during our stay which resulted in a tantrum from my toddlers. If you’re not a family going to the aquarium, avoid this place.
