We have been here in a handicapped room for a few days now. My daughter and granddaughter loves the pool. Breakfast was very good. I especially liked their fat sausages and cinnamon rolls. They also have eggs, pancakes, and juices. The view is nice of the Mystic Village, a fun place with shops and restaurants. You'll spend lots of time as there's so much to see. We have the largest and nicest room of our trip to get around in our scooters. We've stayed in 10 hotels on this trip, and this is bar far the nicest.

From beginning to end our stay here was amazing. The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. The were clearly doing some work in the building that was blocked off from guests. You never heard or saw anything. We loved the breakfast and had the most amazing stay. Convenient to stay if you are going to the aquarium or just shopping across the street. Its the perfect spot.

The hotel was conveniently located across the street from Mystic Aquarium and Olde Mystic Village. The hotel was clean, although the carpeted stairs could use a deep clean. It had a very small workout room with modern equipment.

The free breakfast was the usual very basic stuff with a pancake maker instead of a waffle maker. They had no fresh fruit so other than yogurt, there were no other healthy options. Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate available 24/7. Pool was very small but at least they had an indoor pool. They could use a few more chairs. The gentleman who checked us in was super nice and friendly. The surly girl at checkout the next morning was just that. All in all it was basic and convenient place to stay the night. They provide basic Dove soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner., but in large containers mounted to the walls vs. travel size.. I personally like the travel size as I take them and donate to our local shelter. The price was a little high for the lodging but I’m guessing it was location and school vacation week. I wouldn’t want to stay more than maybe 2 nights. The biggest and only real complaint was the noise., but that was not the hotels fault other than perhaps needing more insulation/soundproofing. We were in the main floor and all you could hear was what sounded like kids running up and down the halls above you all night. At dinner time it was understandable but it started again at 4:30am and by 6am we had to call the front desk but it didn’t stop. It was the end of February school vacation. We have children and grandchildren and gave stayed at various hotels for sports, etc. so we understand kids run and get crazy. But it was a little out of hand in the wee early morning.

We were not greeted as IHG members. It was almost like an inconvenience to check us in.

The amenities were not as advertised.

The pool had grit at the bottom of it.

The exercise room had no towels, no water, no sanitizing wipes, and no service to the TV or exercise screens.

The breakfast was not available at the posted time. it was over 45 minutes late and incomplete.

The only nice thing I can say about this property is the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

We definitely will NOT be staying at his property again.

After a long day of working, My fiancée and I arrived late to the Holiday Inn Mystic - Groton Area for a two night stay. We were kindly greeted by the overnight auditor. A quick and efficient check-in with good conversation was followed by a wonderful, spacious, clean room. the bed was soft and was large enough that my fiancée and I had plenty of room to sprawl out. We placed a Do not disturb sign on our door which was honored by the housekeeping department. Breakfast each morning was a great way to start our day. Located across from Old Mystic Village and Mystic Aquarium, we had plenty to do. As I travel a lot this was a great hotel and I will be staying here when I am in the mystic area.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel is always a great value and a pleasant stay. This is a great getaway with so many options of what to do. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for 30 days to complete required nights for lounge access.. Staff was very accommodating, kind and helpful especially Diana, front desk. Rooms cleaned daily and breakfast was good. Loved hanging out in the lobby as it is spacious and bright. With a fireplace and tv. As it is December, the village across the street is decorated with Christmas themed lights which is beautiful at night. Recommend and will stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by the desk rep. Very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Pillows and sheets were top-notch. A wall lamp was in need of some maintenance as it was missing some of the wall screws but was still useable. The room was big and well appointed. Breakfast was good and items were promptly refilled when getting low. Overall happy with this property. Nice location near restaurants and things to do.
