I live locally in Middlebury & my son goes to the Highschool right up the road, so we are frequently in this pantry. I think they recently changed owners or something, my omelette was horrible (no cheese & the peppers & onions were so hard). So I went in about 1/2 hr later to get two egg & cheese on a Kaiser roll…. That was even worse. The roll was burnt on both sides and barely an egg on my sons sandwich and mine. We won’t be going back in… not good service or quality food! When I went back in to ask for a soft non burnt roll the guy at the counter (assuming new owner) put an uncut roll in a bag and rudely said “Have a good day.”
This is a small town, word spreads and being a business owner myself, I’m disappointed.

COUNT your food. We love the chicken and travel by once a month. Last month we were shorted a breast, very disappointed when we stopped to eat 100 miles down the road. This time I counted before I left the register and was short 3 tenders (I only ordered 6). They were not busy today, so that is not an excuse. Also, last time I was told 3 tenders are sold together with a discount. This time the girl at the register had no idea what I was taking about.

I don’t what’s so hard about taking an order and making it. NO THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING means none!! Thanks for ruining my meal for a long road trip!

This place has gone severely downhill. If you hear people from the area raving about it, they’re not talking about the way it is now, but rather the way it used to be. Severely disappointed with the quality of a simple breakfast sandwich. If you ask for and pay for double meat, you should be given so. Accompanied by cheese and a not burnt roll. Hoping they’re able to turn this place around because the location is very convenient, but it seems they’re more concerned with stocking toilet paper and other convenience store toiletries than the quality of their food.

I really enjoy 5he fried chicken and french fries here. Tastes amazing and is priced fairly. The sandwiches are just as good with a great variety to choose from. Staff is friendly and its kept very clean.

Last 3 trips led me here ;
Generally I try to take into consideration people can have a bad day , but it seems as this place has let itself go.
I was overcharged 9 dollars after getting an unacceptable attitude from the girl at the counter . It seems like more and more the quality of staff has declined. That quality is now leeching into the food production.
I don't enjoy all the attitude from the employees. It's like they all hate it there so much they exude that vibe to the customer.
I used to really enjoy the fried chicken there. Was my main reason for going .
That's seemingly always dryer than ever now. All the accoutrement is seemingly prepped worse.
To summarize:
It's beyond repair. It thrives on passers by off the highway with super over inflated pricing.

The good version of this establishment is far lost I feel.

There's far better food , for far more reasonable pricing. If the excuse for the food is to pay the staff , Maybe hire better staff....

I ordered the chicken tenders, egg/potato salad and chicken caesar wrap with a vitamin water and the tenders were so dry and tough that I didn’t finish them. Potato salad was decent. I got the wrap for later so we’ll see about that. I feel like the tenders might have been good when they were fresh but the ones I got must have been under the heat lamp since lunch. I love to support small/local spots but this place was a disappointment. The girl that took my order was sweet though.

Couldn’t wait to try a NY style deli with my 8 year old daughter who MUST use the bathroom and wash her hands. The owner told my daughter she couldn’t use their bathroom so we walked, not before I told the owner it wasn’t for me but just my daughter. Subsequently we were told to use the gas station or hotel down the road.
