The Pavilion on Crystal Lake is a great wedding venue. I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding there is past December. If you’re all about cozy vibes with a side of celebration, then this is where it’s at. With warm wood beams and open spaces it brings a vibe that says "intimate but let’s still party." Shout out to Shawn who was the coordinator on the day, he did an awesome job!

I have photographed several weddings at The Pavilion on Crystal Lake and I must say not only are the views and food incredible, the venue staff/in house coordinators are unbeatable! They are so hands on and helpful to the couple (who doesn't love fresh drinks and multiple snack boards right after the ceremony?!), guests, and vendors! I am so excited to return.

From the moment we booked with Pavillion, my wife Alex and I knew we were going to be taken care of. From our initial tour with Samantha, through all of our planning meetings with Amanda and Allie, they had our backs, helped us stay organized and made us so comfortable. When it came to our final meeting the Wednesday before our wedding day with Casey and Mary, we knew the wedding of our dreams was about to become a reality. Every single thing from the food to the venue to the organization, we were blown away. Nearly two months since and we still have people tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. We cannot thank the entire Connecticut Wedding Group team enough. Thank you for making our dreams come true.

One of our first weddings was at The Pavilion on Crystal Lake, and thankfully we have added several more weddings on the property to our portfolio as full-time wedding photographers. Most of the time we are there in the summer and enjoying the warm days and ceremonies by the lake followed by the reception with beautiful views from the deck and the dance floor. We always appreciate the kind and caring staff who go out of their way to work so well with us. We love making use of the sand and water to the night lights in the ceremony area. The getting ready cottage is perfect for the parties, and having everything in such close walking distance helps everyone.

The food is excellent and quite varied for anyone’s taste. The atmosphere is intimate, warm, and inviting for those small to mid-sized weddings where you want to be able to see and enjoy all of your guests for the night. We often end up on the balcony looking down at the crowd to get some wide photos of decor to dancing, and it’s a great spot to capture a lot of emotions. I have a Part 107 drone license and it is one of the best venues to enjoy from above, too! While this is written from the perspective of a small business owner, this is an unbiased and unsponsored review, and we can’t wait for many more years of weddings here.

Pavilion on Crystal Lake was the absolute best venue for our wedding. From the start of the planning process to after the wedding their team was supportive, responsive and helpful. CT Wedding Group helped to decrease our stress in the planning process and make the time enjoyable. Our day of coordinator, Sean, was amazing!! He was so informative, supported us, made sure we always had what we needed including food/drinks! Sean made it a priority to check in with the Bride and the Groom AND our parents and parties. He was the best and our day ran so smoothly! The venue itself is gorgeous! It’s perfect for a couple looking for a modern/rustic/outdoorsy look! The lake, ceremony site and inside is beautiful, (we loved the lights and greenery inside!). Food was amazing from cocktail hour to meals. Our guests had an amazing time. I have no complaints at all!

I had my wedding at the pavilion in August 2023 and let me just say, it was fantastic. The FOOD, the staff, the scenery, the organization was just amazing. Nicole handled everything to a T and we literally didn't have to worry about a thing. All of my guest have been gushing over the venue and the food since the wedding. We were nervous about the price initially, but I'm so happy we spent the money and got a great venue. So happy!

As a wedding photographer, I am always happy when I get to capture weddings for the CT wedding group. The Pavilion is really one of the best places to consider when having your wedding. From the amazing scenery to the attentive staff (LEXI WE LOVE YOU!) You cannot go wrong when choosing this venue. I am fortunate to be able to shoot here a few times a year and I always leave full and with the best images ever!

Really nice venue, easy to reach and plenty of parking. Sizable inside the building, but not overwhelmingly so, like a lot of reception halls can be. Has a really nice balcony overlooking the lake. The area by the gazebo is particularly nice, especially at night!
