This motel will be going out of business soon because they require you to pay a 250$ deposit plus the room price. Like who does that? No other motel or hotel does that.
When I called he told me the only thing owed was 108$ a night which is way to pricey for this establishment!! As soon as my husband and I got up there we got sprung with the deposit fee ..
Bye bye River City Motel, because if I could give you Zero stars, I would.

This is a motel that is new to the Choice Hotel line. It will be under the Clarion brand.
But, the photo on the app only shows the interior of a well staged room but not the outside. The exterior was in need of much repairs. The room was clean, although it was freshly remodeled and was missing some essential items. The staff was very friendly. The rates currently are very affordable due to the construction and remodeling going on. But once it is completed, the rates will probably increase. Lots of outside noise early in the morning.

Room was brand newly remodeled, but not finished, bathroom door wouldn't shut correctly. Ice machine was broken. Clean no bugs or stains. Brand new beds, shower, TV, and refrigerator.

The room itself was nice and clean but the service was horrendous. The man who runs the place is nothing but hateful, they made my husband leave his job in order for them to give us another night. My baby made a mess that I ended up cleaning but before I had the chance the manager screamed and cussed at me.
I wouldn't recommend, he hates women and babies, not understanding at all and even took my phone to cuss out my husband while he was at work

We got accused of taking not 1 dog but 2 dogs in for one I only have one dog and she's to big to wrap in a towel and sneak her in that we're accused of doing my dog never got out of our car , while we were unloading our stuff and took it upstairs to our room we come out and seen the lady that works in the office and an older lady walking away from our car , so we went to the car and left and took my dog to my mom's house . We stayed like 2 or 3 nights and today they started all this mess and made us leave
