I came to the forbidden for my 21st birthday. It was a reservation for 14. This particular night the restaurant wasn’t too packed so we had our waiters full attention! He was on top of everything! Very good service and attention to details. I forgot what exactly I ordered, but everybody at the table was beyond pleased with their meals! They have very good prices and a menu options. And not only were their drinks, beautiful and interactive, but they were also delicious!! Definitely will be coming back!

Placed looked runner down not like the photos or video on social media, needs up keeping and a major clean. Mirrors were dirty and so were our tableware. Food was either over or under cooked. Some parts cold of the food were cold and some hot.

This place needs to decide if they wanna be a club or restaurant! Paying $20-$40 for a plate and not being able to hear the person across from you talk because the music is so loud is insane! The night I went, it was my bday and I was really hoping for a good meal and drinks. The drinks are cute and taste good but priced like we’re in Miami. Ha! The meal was mediocre. The description of the meal was not what I received. These people fried up rice and beans.. I couldn’t believe it. The consistency was similar to mofongo. Luckily the waitress refunded me for my meal. I left there wanting to stop at McDonald’s! Also, we moved tables 3 times! They said at a certain time tables get removed from the center of the place, I guess to create room for people to dance. I find it extremely rude to carry my plate, mid meal, to another table. We should’ve never been seated there to begin with. The waitress did not even help bringing all the cups, napkins, utensils, etc to the new table. We stepped away from the table for a few minutes to take pictures and left our jackets and a drink at the table (a $35 drink at that) when we came back someone threw the drink out! I wrote this place off 30 min into our experience. I would never visit or recommend this spot EVER.

Keep in mind. You have to pay for parking before 6pm on the street. Afterwards it's free. The location is super nice. With a few photo op areas . Nice size bars and good size restaurant. I do suggest making reservations ahead of time. The sushi is fantastic. Try to take avatar if their happy hour because of not it can be a bit pricy for the portions you receive. Drinks are good. And Def photo worthy.

I have to start by saying me and my friend had very high hopes for this spot due to seeing girls post it on tiktok and seeing instagram reels that made this spot look good. Me and my friend got to this spot this past Saturday late afternoon and when we walked in we first noticed the music to be BLARING loud with the DJ, when there was barely anyone sitting inside eating or having drinks which should have been the first sign something wasn’t going to be good. It took a minute for someone to come and seat us but when they did they were pleasant and say us in the swinging chairs. We took a look at the menu and knew we wanted drinks to start. Our server came over to take our order which we each got one martini each and decided to order our food at the same time, still expecting our drinks to be out first. About 20 minutes go by and me and my friend have not received our drinks and we are next to the bar so we can see everything plus the place has barely any customers as is. The bartender the whole time was sitting on her phone and no drinks were being made. Me and my friend finally got our waiters attention and said we had to go and wanted to cancel our order. At this time he said we couldn’t and our food was already done (which still didn’t come out and no drinks were made). He proceeds to bring our food and asks if we still wanted our drinks, which at this point we were so annoyed we said yes and asked for the bill at the same time. He didn’t say sorry or offer anything to be covered, acted like it wasn’t a big deal we never received anything until we mentioned it to him. I can honestly see this place closing if they don’t do something about there staff and service. I will not be going back and recommended no one go unless you want a very unpleasant experience.

This place was awful. ONE taco was $4 which was fine but this is what they looked like. There was literally maybe a teaspoon scoop of meat. This is absolutely wild. Service was also terrible. Appetizers came out after our meals and we weren’t even offered silverware or napkins.
