This was a wonderful place for an upscale dinner. I had the lamb chops and they were fabulous. Our service was very attentive and we enjoyed our experience very much. We will definitely be back.

Food was great. Pasta was yummy and delicious. The fresh oysters WAS PERFECT!!! Ambiance for business dinners like us and service staff were all hands on.

They accommodated our party of nine last minute. Our waiter (Roman? something with an R) was on point- patient and knowledgeable. Everyone loved their dishes- and we tried about 30% of the menu. Cocktails were lovely. Wine menu was extensive. Desserts were delicious (tiramisu , lava cake (?), and a limoncello based confection. Atmosphere was perfect- comfortable, with great lighting. 10/10. One of the best places to enjoy dinner AND hear everyone at your table.

My friends and I had the pleasure to attend an awards luncheon at Luce in January. Ive driven past this restaurant many times, and always thought it looked inviting. What an excellent place to eat and drink! We were seated in an enclosed sunroom with bright windows and a beautiful elegant bar across the back wall. The food was delicious, the best calamari Ive ever had, and the chicken medallions over rice were perfectly delicious. Kudos to staff Ramos, Vinny and bartender Medina who did a great job serving a large gathering. The main part of the restaurant had a warm ambiance, really nice atmosphere. Looking forward to returning, soon!

Great service, great food! To start I had the sirloin tips with garlic mashed potatoes and a side of broccoli rabbi. The other dish pictured was a organic chicken over potatoes and spinach. For desert we had espresso and coffee with cannoli and hot lava cake with homemade ice cream. Everything was delicious! The hostess Nita was super friendly. The wait staff was kind! Definitely recommend this place!

EDIT: Food Poisoning: The below was my initial review Of this restaurant. However, between 4-6 hours after eating, my wife began vomiting. She had a stiff neck, headache and body aches. Classic presentation of food poisoning. Sooo…these things happen from time to time, but unfortunately I cannot stand by my initial 4-Star rating.

This is a nice restaurant in downtown Middletown with large indoor seating, bar and outdoor dining.

Wonderful place to do a large event under the tent with its own mobile bar and round tables.

The bar makes quality drinks to standard and has the LARGEST selection of mixed drinks of any restaurant in all of Middletown.

Their pasta dishes are rich, savory and delicious! .

Personally, I would choose to pair some of their entrees with a different type of pasta. For example, the Veal Scallopini Luce Combo is served with orecchiette, but It would be amazing if instead they used a nice gemelli or pappardelle to absorb all the delicious sauce instead of just pooling in the orecchiette.

The portions were very generous. The French onion soup was tasty.

We had our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner here in the sunroom and it was perfect! The table setting and room was elegant and the service was top notch. Everyone was raving over the food. It was delicious. Every detail was taken care of by the owner and his superb staff. We didn’t even have to think…just eat! We are so happy and would recommend this restaurant to anyone whether it’s an event or a night out.

we have not been in a while, and the food was decent but not as good as they use too be. we had 100 dollar gift card, then the receipt showed 4 dollar balance. manager said they only charged 80 however the receipt showed 96 used. he refused to give the money back and was extremely rude and everything he told us (that he would give us the money back and refund the card) came back to table and said he never said that at all.
i believe in honesty. we will never go back or recommend this place
