I saved the best for last, keep reading.

No trash bin in room or bathroom. This is the worst offense, and seems like management knows the whole room is a trash bin.

Towels and toilet paper (including the spare) looked used.

No desk chair. Desk lamp not plugged in. I'm not getting on the floor to do that myself.

Floor lamp not plugged in. No outlet nearby.

No outlets on the bed table.

No restroom in lobby (I came in from a 14-hour straight drive).

Front desk tried to charge me $30 more than their website. While negotiating with me, he received a phone call and stepped away from the front desk to receive groceries(?!) outside. When he returned, he came down to their website (THEIR WEBSITE) price. No wifi info in the room, had to call and ask, and it took me several tries to get the password correct due to his heavy accent (not his fault, but he seemed rude).

His saving grace is, his "bad" behavior might just be cultural difference. I can forgive that. I can't forgive the room.

EDIT: I just came back from the "continental breakfast".

Pancake machine spit out burnt crisps, then two undercooked pancakes.

One overripe banana, six green ones. No ripe ones.

Apples? I got there at 7am, only two other guys there, one had an apple, and there were no apples left.

A few cups of peach yogurt, no other flavors or brands.

A few small, packaged muffins.

stayed for 3 days, the rooms are not clean whatsoever. red/blood looking stains on the blankets, the toilet appears to have mold(?) in it and it also moves when you sit down, bathroom has a weird odor, dirty shower, room and hallway had a weird odor, and there was a condom wrapper behind the bed. overall i had a horrible experience and i would genuinely rather sleep in a car than in here. do not waste your money.

I was in Middletown for a church conference. The room I was given was dirty, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling. There was mold on the wall in the bathroom, the shower in disrepair. The tub was filthy and the shower rod and curtain were rusty and dirty. The room was musty. I went to the desk and informed them I could not remain in there. I was offered another room on the third floor which the clerk stated was all renovated. The bedspread on one of the beds had spots on it that looked like body fluids. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom was better with some newer fixtures. The tub was still dirty with an obvious ring of dirt in it. The clerk also told me I would receive my deposit back(50.00). As of today, it has not appeared in my bank account. Others in my group were charged different prices for the same number of days stay. I will never stay there again.

The lady who checked me in was lovely, on Sunday the 1st of December and so is everyone who works here. CARPET should not be in rooms since it holds onto smoke , pet hairs and is hard to clean. Hardwood floors please. Pancakes for breakfast, muffins, cereal and fruit is not bad, thank you for that.

Positive: The convenience Negative: The bathtub wasn?t clean and wall paper was peeling. Stains on the rug, white stain on bed skirt. Tv stand absolutely disgusting! Old and peeling! Should have been either re-stained or replaced! I won?t consider this place again.

Positive: The location Negative: Bringing my dog had us in a pet room which wasn't in the best shape. Cracks and holes in the wall and carpet lining coming off of the wall. Will reconsider bringing my pet next time because they have better rooms.
