We took advantage of an Expedia deal to book at a rate lower than the norm for this hotel, and we looked forward to staying so close to the college. We usually book the Marriott Courtyard in the next town. Upon arrival, we were baffled by the parking situation. Parking is located behind the building, with no clear path to access the hotel other than walking around the block to the front entrance. We finally found, and followed, one set of hotel access signs at the rear of the building, which led to a locked door with a broken keypad. We continued walking around the building to the next set of signs, which took us into an unattractive alley, and there we were finally able to access the building. This, after carting our luggage awkwardly through a not very accessible parking lot. We finally arrived at the lobby, which was surprisingly dated-looking. The rooms were nice, and the staff was friendly, but overall, this would not have been worth the normal rates charged. The building needs a better rear entrance and clearer signage.

The perfect spot for wedding weekend with family. Centrally located to local restaurants and St. Clements castle was an easy drive. The kids all enjoyed the pool while the adults enjoyed the cozy fire and excellent accommodations. The staff was amazing. We enjoyed a lovely family breakfast prior to our departure. We couldn't have asked for more.

We went to Middletown to go snow tubing with our older kids and we stayed at the Inn. We also had our dog with us and they were very accommodating. When I booked the rooms online I accidentally book two rooms with two queen beds and they adjusted one room so my husband and I could have a king bed. The put us in two room at the end of the hall so that our dog would be away from any noise. The rooms were very big and clean. The beds were comfortable and they let you pick your checkout time. The restaurant has yummy food and super friendly staff. This place is a gem.

The Inn at Middletown is quantity and cozy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Loved dining in the tavern...Lisa and Darcy were both awesome! Highly recommend staying!

Front desk staff was great, very helpful and pleasant. Staff at the Tavern were excellent too with how friendly and courteous they were. Food was amazing. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner should be included in your stay with how much you pay, minus tips. Along with the drinks/snacks upfront by the front desk. There’s NO MICROWAVE too.. so you literally pay all this money for not even the bare minimum that you would if you spent $147 a night somewhere else, you’d have it better at the cheaper places because at-least you can heat up your food and you’d get the other same amenities you get here. Pool was SMALL and so was the hot tub. Pool was COLD along with the room it’s in.. god you will be sick if you choose to stay here now or in the winter. With how much you pay plus the fees, everything in that place should be included in your stay. It is definitely over priced. I wouldn’t stay again. It’s not worth the money.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. the children's enjoyed themselves at the pool and jacuzzi. I have the pleasure of meeting Greg the (GM), very cool and down to earth guy. At checking we met Mary (FD), she is awesome. We have a quick and easy check-in. Mary is an amazing person, she made us felt welcome and we are at our home away from home. Thank you Mary for the fun chat we had. I met Steve the (Overnight), very helpful and polite. Mason (FM), team player and a funny guy. Nicole (FD) have great personality and a beautiful smile. The housekeepers are very hardworking and friendly. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and we will be back. Thank you for having us.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to actually stay at this hotel because a snowstorm canceled our trip. However, they were super nice and accommodating about canceling due to the circumstance, even though it was outside their normal cancellation policy. I spoke to Nicole who was very helpful and friendly.
