Does CT not have good coffee? Is this why this place has high rating? Did I come in a bad day? The coffee here is so watered down I’ve had better coffee at gas stations before! Same thing with their food. The only reason Im giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff is very friendly.

I have had lattes from Cafe Real and they have been great! The staff have been very nice and understanding and do a fantastic job filling orders as fast as they can. I just bought a bag of their light roast bean to make espresso at home, and it is the best coffee from a local roaster I have had from Connecticut in a long time! Keep up the great work!

I have been coming to Café Real for years now and can honestly say this is my favorite coffee shop. Not only is the coffee amazing but the people who work there are great as well. I feel like I’m visiting friends when I walk in and I’ve felt like that since the beginning. I no longer live in Bristol but any chance I get I’m coming for a coffee here. They also have pastries and breakfast items that are delicious. I highly recommend coming here!

The staff are welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. We didn’t try the food (looks amazing, so next time we’ll be getting waffles)
We LOVE a fresh balanced cup of coffee. We tried their Tinto (self serve drip coffees), a plain cappuccino with whole milk, and a straight double shot of espresso.
The cappuccino was nutty, with hints of molasses, exactly what I look for in a quality cup. DON’T SLEEP ON THE TINTO!!! The Tinto was such an awesome bargain, we highly recommend it if you want to try the different roasts before you purchase a bag of beans to bring home. We sampled each roast, dark roast was our favorite! The espresso was flavorful with hints of cinnamon and citrus, and it was not too acidic. All in all, this place is fantastic. Ambiance: The music is at a great volume, you can jam, but still have a conversation. The place is clean, indoor and outdoor seating with umbrella covered tables. There’s Wifi, and seems like a place we could come to get an hour of work done between things in our day.

Indulge in the perfect pairing at this Colombian coffee haven: the velvety cappuccino, expertly crafted with beans sourced from their own farms in Colombia, and a melt-in-your-mouth delight of an alfajore cookie. Café Real is a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Colombia’s rich coffee culture!
