My friend and I came here on a busy Saturday morning before an event. Despite a full house (we took the last open table), we were helped within 5 minutes of sitting down and were eating within another 10ish? We were able to be in and out within an hour which was amazing since we were running a bit late (our own fault lol). Service was so fast and very friendly. We both got Benedicts with fruit on the side which were delicious; i got the California Benny and the hollandaise elevated the fresh spinach and tomato and it was so good. I don’t know when I’d be back in the area but if i am i will definitely be back!!

I love this restaurant. I try to have breakfast/brunch there every time I visit the area. The food is wonderful. Plates are loaded with delicious fruits that perfectly complement the dish (see photo). Atmosphere is very nice, with cool artistic clocks on the walls, and the service is extremely helpful and kind.

Nice quiet place to have breakfast. The waitress was so polite and all the staff were great! They made my son some special pancakes with a face on them . He also convince my 7 year old to eat his a little more and gave him a little Halloween candy.. the food was great too!

When I arrived on a Thursday morning around 11:30 the place was empty but quickly filled up half full....many singles at the bump up counter and others at tables scatter about a rather large dining room. Service was very good, nice pleasant and attentive waitress. I ordered eggs benedict since she said the hollandaise sauce was make in house and chose chorizo as the meat. The meat arrived on the side and not on the english muffin which I thought was rather odd and although the sauce was good, it was way too lemony for my taste. The side was not potatoes but fresh fruit and was a nice change.Coffee good and strong, breakfast with a view out of the front windows very pleasant....for many locals it seemed was the place to come.

Went here for brunch with my daughter a couple of weekends ago and was thoroughly impressed with the staff and overall experience.

I really only write reviews when I have a great or terrible experience. This was a great one and as a small local business, deserves the praise.

The food was standard breakfast fare but made to perfection. We had no issues with our order. I had eggs over easy with a side of bacon and I believe my daughter ordered an omelet. Table service was timed well.

The place was adorably decorated for Christmas with cute stuffed animals on every table. One of the staff was dressed up as rudolf (although looked more like an elf) and shared laughs with us about it.

Every staff member we encountered was attentive, upbeat and inviting. After we left, we knew we’d be back and would bring others with us.

When I got home later, after running a few errands, I realized I left my phone on the table, which also had my ID attached in a magnetic wallet to the back. I called to check just 15 minutes before closing and they were keeping it safe for me. When I arrived to retrieve it just a few minutes after their official close time, the staff was just as pleasant and friendly as they handed it to me. In fact once said had ai bit called she planned on dropping it at my house since the address was on my ID. I believed the gesture! This group of individuals definitely seems the type to go above and beyond.

Kudos to whoever is doing the hiring there for creating a culture of fantastic staff! It made our experience memorable and put the Turtle Cafe on our “must visit more often” list.

Very solid local breakfast stop, amazing service, friendly and helpful. Great menu. Omelet, eggs, kielbasa hash, all excellent. Really fast seating, short wait on a busy Sunday morning. Easy to park around back. Worth a stop if in the area.

A great place to go for a good breakfast in downtown Clinton. Our server was very polite and personable, bringing us our food in a timely manner. I love the cozy atmosphere with the flamingos and various clocks. The only issue I have is that the amount of food to price ratio is a little off. Although, the food is very good and I will definitely be coming back.
