We recently got married at The Hops Company in Derby, CT and David Grant Caterers did a fantastic job with our buffet. We had a wide assortment of hors d'oeuvres that everyone loved! Fan favorites were the bacon wrapped scallops, philly egg rolls, and caprese skewers. For dinner, our buffet consisted of seasonal veggies, potatoes, rolls, balsamic glazed chicken, marinated flank steak, and penne vodka. The flank steak was served with gravy or horseradish on the side, both were delicious! I was very happy with the quality, affordability, and professionalism of this caterer. Thanks so much for helping make my wedding a memorable experience! Oh, I also appreciated the wait staff making sure the bride and groom were brought hors d'oeuvres while photo taking, it was so considerate and much appreciated!

Wonderful, wonderful experience with David Grant catering. Responsive in our planning for a recent Repast. Food was wonderful. Presentation beautifully done. I will recommend to all my friends. Thanking Trevor as our planner in particular. You made a difficult day into a well deserved tribute for a man who shared a passion for cooking. .

BAYBEEEE met the lovely Alexis at an event at Beardsley Zoo, such a sweetheart. I had a Chop Barbecue Slider. DEAR GOD!!! It was so yummy! Meat was succulent, seasoned and smoked all the way through. I was full as hell but wanted another lol. Highly recommend and would eat again!

I recently got married at lighthouse point park and David Grants team is outstanding!!! His team is beyond amazing! We had a backup plan for rain and the staff was on top of it monitoring the weather. Due to rain we had our first look pictures in the venue while the staff was setting up each one of them congratulated us, asked what we needed and one even said a prayer for us! There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing they were. During cocktail hour, dinner and the reception the staff was so attentive always checking on my husband and I. They made sure we had drinks, got to eat etc. I got countless compliments on the food and staff from guests. We did a buffet style and people had such full plates while getting to try everything. The staff packed up the extra food and packed our car for us. David himself was awesome as well! I emailed him many many times and had a few phone conversations with him. He was so helpful and knows exactly what to do. He reassured me everything would be taken care of and handled and it really was. Being my wedding I can say it was so stress free and amazing because of his staff. They also make one hell of a drink! The open bar was so worth it as we contemplated it I’d highly recommend. Again staff handled the crowd so well and were so beyond prepared. Highly highly recommend David Grants services.

We used Dave Grant Catering for our August wedding, Dave and his team were wonderful to work with. Dave was one of the most responsive vendors we worked with - answering my list of questions during our initial phone call, and responding my email always within 24 hours. Dave was flexible in creating appetizers for our cocktail that we felt fit our theme/venue perfectly. Our guests had so many kind things to say about the appetizers and dinner - everything was hot and fresh, some of our guests even boxed up and took leftovers home as the portions were so generous.

Dave himself is excellent to work with, and his staff meet the same standard. Will was the event manager at our wedding and he made sure everything was perfect. One of the waitresses, Alexis, was an absolute gem, making me a plate during cocktail hour to make sure I ate as well.

We can't recommend Dave and his team enough and are so grateful that they were available to be a part of our wedding day.

Last evening we were treated to a gastronomical pleasure thanks to Dave and his team at Dave Grant Caterers in Shelton. I look forward to the next family gathering at our house when we will call upon Dave and team. Everything was delicious, my favorite was the sausage puff followed by the sausage stuffed mushrooms and bacon wrapped scallops. The expert presentation added to the effect.

We just had David M Grant Caterers cater my daughter’s baby shower yesterday and they were amazing! They went above and beyond. Throughout the process, Dave got back to each of my emails within the day if not minutes later answering any questions. We did the 22.95 per person brunch and there was so much good food! Everyone was raving about it, especially the butternut squash ravioli. We weren’t sure how good it was going to be with breakfast items but everything was hot and fresh! The servers were very friendly and helpful. I would 100% hire them again for any event!

We hired Dave and his team to cater our backyard wedding. He was great to work with from start to finish. He was always responsive, which was very much appreciated, and his food was absolutely delicious. Both my husband and I, not to mention the guests, loved it. We were very happy when we saw there were a few leftovers for us to enjoy. His waitstaff and the bartender were all great the night of. They were friendly, professional, and our night ran so smoothly with them. I am so happy we chose to work with him for our wedding. Thank you for making our night so enjoyable!
