Ivy catered my wedding and from start (about a year and half ago) to finish, she was there every step of the way. I truly appreciate her and Sophia’s amazing hospitality and willingness to meet our needs. Prior to the wedding, she held a private tasting for us and helped recommend us to the best pie shop!! Shoutout to Zest Pastry Shop! Day of, I heard from lots of guests how kind the caterers are and how attentive they were! I also got rave reviews for the food- I still dream about the salmon and the pilaf! I also did late night hors d’ouevres and my guests were so excited and surprised by them!!Some said it was the highlight of their night! On top of the amazing food, the drinks were also great- we loved our special signature drinks. Special thank you to Ivy for making my night awesome! If you want an extremely

I cannot promote Ivy’s Simply Homemade enough .. email correspondence was prompt and informative. Planning a surprise birthday for my husband and they guided me through everything from the amount of food, how to reheat it (the party was Sunday but was picked up on Saturday) and even a follow up email a couple days after to see how everything went! Karen is a ROCK STAR… we would absolutely use Ivy’s in the future! Guests were full and raving about the food, and the price was truly reasonable. Thank you Ivy and Karen for all your help and guidance. The absolute best ♥️ ps .. no pictures of the food because i was busy devouring it!

My family was renting a house for the month of July in Groton to enjoy a month at the CT shore. We opted to find a local caterer to provide weeknight dinners for the month while there, so that we could enjoy more time with family (and less time meal planning, meal prepping, and cooking!). We had multiple visitors - so we needed dinners for 6-12 and with varying tastes and dietary restrictions. Ivy's was such a pleasure to work with throughout the month! They had plenty of options for meals that would suit our family and accommodated our special requests for dietary restrictions. Ivy's was very easy to work with - email correspondence was prompt and they helped provide suggested sizes for all of the meals. When we had an issue with one of the dishes, Ivy's was prompt to make it right - providing a refund and even offering to deliver a new dish. Besides the one issue, the food was delicious - some of our favorites were the beef tenderloin, roasted potatoes, turkey pot pie, and meat lasagna! We wished that we lived closer to Ivy's so that we could continue to receive these delicious meals!

My friends absolutely love this place. They are brother and sister. They eat something from here at least once a week!! Homestyle full take out meals. If I tell you about the delicious whoopie pies they sell, you won't leave any for me!!! 😁

My brother and I ordered from Ivy's Simply Homemade for my mother's birthday celebration and it was fantastic! The portions were extremely generous. Loved the cheese plate and the pesto chicken!

Ivy's catered my wedding over Memorial Day Weekend and I am SO happy I went with this company, being a hospitality professional myself. You not only get a caterer, but you also get a personalized experience guaranteed to knock your socks off.

We were lucky enough to get Sophia as our wedding coordinator. Since I planned my own wedding, it was nice to have someone I could trust on the other end. She was available when I needed her, and was always checking in. She nailed every detail down to the inch. Ivy and Sophia were both professional, patient, and hospitality oriented.

We were kept in the loop with deadlines, road blocks, and decision making. They cc'd my mom on every email as I requested. They never once tried to upsell me, but they knew if something aligned with my values, that I would want to know about it. They were always spot on, and I ended up adding anything they offered me because they knew it was part of my vision. At times it was almost like they were in my head! I never once felt like "another one of their events," but rather I wondered if they even HAD any other events, because the experience felt so personalized and tailored to me. They succeeded in making us feel like their only priority.

The tasting before the wedding was spectacular. They close down the shop and do a detailed tasting and take notes on what you like or dislike. It was organized and well put together. This was also really special to us because we didn't have much time to enjoy the food on our wedding day, understandably.

But the wedding? I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful day. The ceremony was even more beautiful than I had pictured, all thanks to Sophia and the staff at Ivy's. The reception was set up gorgeously, the food was WAY better than your typical wedding cuisine, and the service was outstanding. Most of my relatives and friends are in hospitality as well and they couldn't stop commenting on how exceptional the service was all night. The bartenders were definitely a highlight, so shoutout to them. They even assigned me a bridal attendant, who had eyes on us all night and went above and beyond.

If you are lucky enough to get Ivy's Simply Homemade to Cater for your event, you should count your lucky stars. They should be charging double what they do. I am in debt to Ivy and Sophia for delivering the best fairy tale wedding I could have ever asked for. Thank you for an amazing experience.
