Always a treat to come to this local diner!

Fantastic food and service, even during busy times. The servers are consistently attentive, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu, specials, and (if asked) recommendations. I regularly find my mind being read with perfect timing asking for a coffee refill or for hot sauce to go with my food.

I can not stress enough how expertly the staff coordinate and serve a full dining room with zero compromise.

I hate leaving bad reviews unless absolutely necessary. My first 2 visits here were pleasant. The waitress with the reddish orange hair is my favorite she is very friendly and attentive made me feel at home. Unfortunately my last visit here was not. The waitress with the dark hair slim figure was very rude and dismissive. The food I ordered was not good at all and I simply asked for something else. The woman with the dark hair basically told me she can’t do anything about that and continued on with her other tables. We had a few exchange of words after she kept coming over and I told her I’m not paying for my meal because I wasn’t eating it, she then threatened to call the police on me, we basically started arguing in the restaurant while all the other customers sat there and watched and listened. Eventually the manager came over. As the manager was trying to speak to me, the waitress with the dark hair continued to argue with me, the manager was respectful and professional and offered to make me something else as that’s all I wanted to begin with. I’ve asked the woman with the dark hair to stop coming to our table and serving me and my family yet disregarded everything I asked then proceeded to walk around talking junk to her other employees about me calling me ghetto and making a scene distracting the other employees and then decided to come back to my table and hand my dad the bill saying loudly I’m probably not getting a tip, that’s when I interrupted and said absolutely not and she started going back and forth again. I feel the woman with the dark hair and disrespectful and rude. She is argumentative, she has poor customer service, is unprofessional and dismissive.

I did end up paying for my meal but I definitely did not leave a tip. Overall the business of the restaurant is nice and has an old school feel to it, the manager is polite and friendly. Never had any other issues with any of the other waitresses except this one. I hope the manager pulls her aside and addresses the way she talks to customers because that was uncalled for unprofessional and embarrassing, not only to me and my family but the establishment itself. It hurts the business.

Very forgettable experience. Ordered eggs over medium and got them over easy, forgot the fruit side we ordered too. The hashbrowns are obviously frozen pre-packaged ones, Ordered a plain pancake and though it tasted good it had little bits of bacon in it which we did not order, though we got that comped no problem. Server wasn't rude or anything just apparently overwhelmed, pretty long wait to take our order, forgetting parts of our order or having us repeat it 2-3 times. A little bit inhospitable as well, didn't say hello, give us her name or apologize when she comped the pancake. The restaurant is clean and pleasant to sit in however, just really mediocre food+service.

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the restaurant. We decided to order the large pancakes, which came loaded with chocolate chips and fresh fruit, along with a side of eggs, sausage and homefries. The presentation of the food was beautiful and clearly put together with care, and the flavors were amazing—everything tasted even better than we expected. Shout out to staff! Our server, Erika, was fantastic. She was not only attentive to our needs but also very lively and engaging. She made an effort to interact with us in a fun, friendly way, and her energy really matched ours, which made the experience feel special. Erika truly helped make our visit memorable.

My meal, an omelette, had a fresh egg smell to it but my wife’s over hard eggs didn’t. Maybe it was just the way mine was prepared but I couldn’t eat it. Thankfully my wife doesn’t eat much so we shared hers. The coffee didn’t do it for me either as it was really light like it was processed twice.

We decided to return to Blondie’s because we had a great experience during our first visit. Last time, I ordered the Greek omelette with shaved steak, and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, today’s experience was disappointing. The omelette was poorly prepared, lacking flavor and even basic seasoning. It didn’t come close to the quality we enjoyed previously.

Our server’s attitude didn’t help. When I brought up the issue, her dismissive response was, “It is what it is” and “Are you going to pay for another one?” This kind of service felt unnecessary and unprofessional.

While I didn’t enjoy the veggie omelette, that was my fault for not asking them to hold the onions, so I didn’t complain about that. However, the overall energy of the restaurant was off. I could tell the server was overwhelmed, which I understand since it was busy, but that doesn’t justify serving subpar food or providing dismissive service.

Ultimately, I left disappointed. The experience was a letdown, and now we’re heading elsewhere to make sure she doesn’t leave hungry.
