My stay at The Inn on Storrs was nothing short of amazing! Jenilu was the sweetest! She was attentive, accommodating and welcoming. She went above and beyond to let us check in early and even told the cleaning crew to stay quiet as we slept during the day because we traveled all night. The hotel is in a great location, it’s very clean and new! Beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were extremely clean, modern, with great lighting and hot water. I have nothing but great things to say about the customer service and hotel. I highly recommend staying here! Thank you Jenilu for your hospitality and kindness.

Jenilu at the front desk was wonderful and very welcoming! Her customer service was the best, and she was a joy to talk with. Every business needs a Jenilu! Our deluxe room was clean and spacious as well. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

My son and I are staying the night tonight. We would have been staying tomorrow as well but…absolutely not. We’re moving to another hotel that isn’t a complete disaster with mold on the wall in the shower and a ceiling fan that sounds like a jet plane taking off.||I should have thought twice when the hotel staff began calling me a few weeks ago to ask which swim team we’re involved with and when I called after hours and told the desk staff that I was away on a business trip and not available to talk during business hours but they could email me, the original staff member continued to leave voicemails. I finally had someone else return her call for me and she told them that she did get the message about emailing but calling is just easier for her. Great…but I don’t have that capacity and it’s not easier for me so stop calling me.||In addition to the above, the door to our room does not lock properly, and the smell of detergent permeates the halls to such an extent that I have to wonder what they’re trying to cover up. My eyes were quite literally red and watering from walking to our room.||When an eight year old boy looks around and asks, “mama, can we stay somewhere else?” you know it’s bad. Now if the person who is lost would only stop banging on our door periodically.

If you are looking for a place to sleep that is affordable this hotel will do. If you want more I would say look elsewhere.||First we arrived an hour early after driving 6 hours to get there. Our room was ready but I was charged $ 25.00 to get in to our room. The front desk assistant was not nice about it at all. I get that it may be the policy, but there were 3 cars in the parking lot, so the hotel wasn't full, our room was ready. You would think to keep customers coming back you would let someone check in. For this reason alone I won't go back.||The hotel is very dated. While the room was fine, it was clean, the beds were fine, the bathroom was fine it was good for a one night stay. ||Breakfast was a joke. They had cereal, yogurt and cheap pre packaged Danish.

In February of this year, I called the Inn on Storrs to book a reservation under a wedding block for just the night of a wedding happening in April. When I received the confirmation email from the Inn, I noticed there were multiple errors on the confirmation including my address and credit card carrier information. I emailed them about these errors, however, never received any follow-up. What I failed to notice was that the reservation date was made, incorrectly, for the day before the wedding instead of the actual wedding date. This was my fault for not noticing, I take responsibility for that. However, they also didn’t follow-up about any of the other issues that I did bring to their attention. When I showed up on the day of the wedding, I found out that I did not have a reservation for that day and had been charged for the previous day’s reservation as a “no-show.” I was told that it was an error on their part and was assured that I would not be charged a second time for that night’s reservation. Turns out, they did end up charging me for both nights, either by accident or on purpose, I’m not sure. But I was charged for both nights even though I only spent one night at the hotel and was told I’d only be charged once. When I realized this error, I sent two different emails that went completely unanswered. I then called the Inn on 2 separate occasions and was told that the manager was unavailable but would call me back. No one ever called me back. Finally, on the 3rd attempt, I spoke with the manager who basically spent 5 minutes telling me that I had completed two different reservations (I did not) and she would need to “look into the case further” and “couldn’t guarantee a refund.” She was very rude and never once apologized for the situation. This conversation happened at the beginning of June and I have yet to hear anything back. Almost two months after the fact and I have yet to receive any refund or follow-up regarding this situation. I absolutely would not recommend staying here.

It's the only hotel in Willimantic. Outdated facilities, good beds, and water pressure.
Accepts Pets!!!!
Our sweet-smelling body wash attracted 🐜 in the bathroom this time however . Next to fast food, fine dining, small shopping center, and grocery store makes this a great location too

Definitely want to have a car but it wasn’t too bad considering it was only 15 minutes out from where we needed to be. There is a plaza/mall walking distance and very quiet. Grab and go breakfast but was nice for the price and purpose of trip.

Now called The Inn on Storrs, it has been an excellent stay. Convenient to jobsite, food shopping and entertainment in walking distance, the entire facility was clean and well maintained and the staff was super friendly.
