I LOVE working with Eric! This is the second time that my non-profit has used this catering company. The first time was for a very large function of over 200 people back in July- Eric was extremely easy to work with and helped us to build a menu that would best suit our needs.
So now it's company X-mas party time and of course we all agreed to call Sweet Relief! I told Eric what we were in the mood for and he created a meal that was so amazing and really helped to make our evening magical. Eric is such a hard worker and you can tell he really cares about his clients and his business. Can't recommend Sweet Relief enough!

Sweet Relief did a fabulous job catering my daughter's wedding. Eric was flexible, accessible, and extremely easy to work with. He and his staff were great - passing appetizers, cleaning up, cutting the cake, putting together plates for the bride and groom. The food was excellent - many compliments on the grilled salmon and the scallop ceviche in particular. We had a Tuscan Table which looked beautifully abundant with veggies, breads, cheeses, etc. All for an excellent price! We are so glad that we found Sweet Relief and highly recommend them!

Kudos to Eric and his team for their outstanding catering of our wedding reception!!!!! We were truly pleased with the entire event and especially Sweet Relief Catering. Guests are still raving about how delicious the food was--especially the salmon and Chicken Satays with Thai Peanut Sauce! We booked Sweet Relief Catering for our wedding this past march 2018 and was the best choice we made! Eric was amazing to work with and was constantly reassuring me that everything would go fine, and sure enough it did! Having someone like Eric who knows the ropes and was really able to steer us in the direction of price and tasting style that we wanted was priceless. He made our wedding planning experience painless and so much easier! Now the food!! The food was excellent (we had a buffet style for 130 people with chicken piccata, ham, and plank seared salmon which was amazing!!!! I don’t even like fish and I loved it!) we got nothing but compliments about how good the food was, how lovely the tables looked, and how attentive and kind the servers were throughout the night. Sweet relief also provideded the linens for our wedding and set up our tables to look beautiful! If you’re looking for great, quality food at an amazing price then I would highly recommend visiting sweet relief for a tasting. 🙂 We’re already planning on having Eric make us an anniversary meal next year! Honestly, If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I can not say enough good things about Sweet Relief Catering! They catered my wedding, and did a fantastic job! There was a few issues with my venue allowing an outside caterer, as they typically do not allow it, but i PUSHED for having them be part of our special day! Eric and his team not only went above and beyond, the day of the wedding, but leading up to the wedding Eric would call just to see how i was doing and make sure we were always on the same page! I can not thank them enough for making our day so special!

We looked for a caterer on the internet for our wedding and based on reviews decided to check out Sweet relief.
We went down to West Haven to meet with Eric and talk about the menu. It is an unassuming building, but easy to find. Once we tasted the food Eric was preparing for us we knew we had found our guy.
The day of the wedding, everything went as planned. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. We received multiple compliments from our guests. The staff that worked the event were supremely professional; down to the detail of getting on hands and knees to clean a floor of the kitchen that was used for prep.
This was an A+ for service and product; truly a diamond in the rough.

Eric was wonderful to work with. He was attentive, adequately assessed our needs for our nursing school gala, and was flexible with details. His staff was kind and professional at the event, and when we had a hiccup with the payment from our school, Eric was understanding and we were able to resolve it quickly.
