New owners!! And let me tell you this food is fire!! Just what you’re looking for in “teriyaki “. Portion is amazing. Flavor is on point. Never fails when I order. Definitely a step up from the last owners. I highly recommend.

First try at this place, very friendly staff, food was average

One dish was pretty good, but a place that has teriyaki hanging above the door, didn't nail the teriyaki, there are jarred sauces that are better

Haven't been here in a long while. Stopped by today and they had a new menu, and everything look remodeled & updated. Food was great and staff was very friendly. Everyone at my job kept asking where I got my food from because it smelled so good. I'll definitely be back! Thank you!

This is a very unsettling trend, and I know exactly what's going on.

Your favorite local food spots are becoming GrubHub/DoorDash/UberEats factories.

This place HAD a full Chinese menu as of a month ago. They closed for a few weeks, reopened with a slightly different name, (Gourmet Kitchen Wings and Teriyaki 🙄), and 80% of the menu is GONE.

No lunch specials, no dinner combos, no chef's specials, no seafood dishes, and so on and so on. This is no longer a Chinese restaurant menu... now it's a freakin' GrubHub menu.

So I paid $11.75 for an order of Beef Lo Mein (heinously overpriced, that tracks) and bid a fond farewell to what WAS one of my favorite Chinese spots in the area.

TL;DR - a *complete and deliberate* alienation of their local customers to chase a corporate cash grab. It's fine - plenty of other places in the area to bring my appetite, and my money.

I was unaware that they charge five dollars extra for delivery. This restaurant does not give anything free despite your amount spent no extra condiments or utensils. You can spend $50 they won’t even give you a soda. I believe they should make people aware that they are charging their card extra money. On top of a tip.

This place was my favorite Chinese food spot for years. I ordered from here every week sometimes a few times a week.. Well like every other food place in Meriden things change (let me explain) They took off for a month for vacation and renovations, which is cool everyone needs a break.. They come back first day back im in there, was so looking forward to them coming back. So i go in and try to place an order,come to find out they didnt have what i wanted so i ask for a menu the kid says oh we dont have any menus but i will let you know we no longer make majority of the old menu. So yeah they leave for a month come back and dropped half their menu. No warning to their loyal customers.. And guy on register didnt seem to care.. Used to order from here a couple times a week, wont get a penny of my money now..
