I moved to Connecticut from Florida a couple of years ago and, while Connecticut has great pizza, it was sorely lacking in Cuban cuisine. But today I discovered this restaurant. And omg it’s like I’m home again. The BEST Cuban sandwich in Connecticut! You guys are a true gift. Absolutely delicious food!

not sure if they are new owners or whats going on, but ordered from here and no one finished their food. Not because it was a big portion but because no one liked the food. we ordered white rice, beans and pernil. then 2 relleno de papas. ok for starters this is the first spanish restaurant i ha e ever gone to in my life that serves white beans with their food. beans didnt have much flavor either and very watery. rice is long grain and was not thoroughly cooked so lots of hard crunchy grains and no not pegao. the pernil was mushy and not much flavor. The relleno de papas were very over fried and not much meat, the potatoe had no flavor.
not sure whats going on but in no way does the food taste like it used to.

First time here and food was worth it. Will definitely return. Owner was very attentive. Parking in front of building is limited to 1hr, 8-5pm, M-F but can always park on Grove St or other close by streets.

100% recommended lo mejor de lo mejor the pernil was to die for and the yuca Al ajillo was slamming. The salad and rice was blazing. Christmas was a success thanks to them can’t wait for new years thank you Reuben and wesley
