I've only been here twice, but hope to increase that number. I'm picky about my roast beef sandwiches and they've been good so far. The brownies are yummy and drink/chip choices are good, too. We like that there is an organized system to ordering. It's 100% a good idea to order online, or call ahead if you have a special order or a time frame... it's appreciated by the staff and it'll improve your experience if it's super busy. When this place gets crowded the parking lot is very full and you have to make tight turns in a smaller space. They have outdoor seating, lovely flowers in most seasons, and I've seen guests lay out picnic blankets on the grass there.

I tried the lobster roll and it was delicious, definitely a standout item. The service is very friendly, and the atmosphere makes it an easy recommendation. I will definitely be going again soon.

The good - service was pleasant, menu has lots of choice and there were nice specials. Did not have long to wait to place my order or receive it. The home made pea and ham soup was delicious.

The bad - the worst piece of fish I’ve ever had in my life. Wasn’t cooked properly and was translucent beneath the batter. When I asked the person who took my order and showed him, he said it was meant to be like that. That is incorrect - cooked cod is meant to be opaque not see-through. He did offer to make another piece but I declined as I would assume it would be undercooked again.

I may be back - but not for the fish.

Fantastic little sandwich shop. All kinds of meats and seafood including lobster rolls as well as homemade soups and cookies! Plus the picnic tables by the brook make for a great picnic spot! The chocolate covered Oreos were delicious too!

I only go here when I need to go to the bank in Meriden. As they usually have good meatball parm grinders. Ordered online meatball roll and a chicken parm roll. Out of meatball. And the chicken parm I threw out. It was like old chicken nuggets w sauce on it with cheese. Hardly even covered the roll. Are you kidding me. 10.99 for a roll and it more bread than anything else.

They will never see me there AGAIN!

And I hope to see my card credited to the meatball parm roll they didn't have.

Almost tempted to refuse the whole transaction.

Could've of went elsewhere and been taken care of.

This place is just the BEST!! Love their lobster rolls and clams are perfect whole belly and clams..!! Yum!!! Would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for great food and great conversation with the owner and VERY reasonable prices.

What a nice surprise. Happened upon this cute place. The staff was so friendly. The menu was great. Food came out really yummy. We had clam strips and scallops. Both were fried in the lightest batter and seasoned perfect. I'd recommend!!!!

The only reason I'm giving it five stars so I can go to the top of the list 😉 The food flavor was amazing only if you want a bucket full of fry batter ugh little shrimp and little clam strips ... Just 😥 sad.... The shrimp is too the left with no shrimp.. I peeled the baby shrimp out the batter😭😂😂😂 Im over it..
