Been staying here consistently for about 4 months for work. Staff is friendly, beds are comfortable and cleaning staff is very accommodating. I’ve had one issue in the past 4 months and it was fixed while I was a work immediately. I 100% recommend and will still be staying here for the foreseeable future

Our experience at The Comfort Inn & Suites in Meriden was less than comfortable.. The room was not clean. There were sticky/ grimy residue on all the furniture. ( TV console, desk, end tables and head boards of the beds. The sheets didn’t look clean. The top blanket had black hairs on both beds. The bathroom floor had dirt in the corner of the tub. Dry uncomfortable and gross. I slept with my hooded sweatshirt with my hood on because I didn’t want my head touching the pillow. |I checked the reviews while we were there and a lot of them were saying they had the same experience from recently to over a year ago. And the management would reply that they would speak to the team.. |Well, obviously they didn’t do anything about it, so it’s a management issue. If the management doesn’t care, then the workers won’t either. Management. DO YOUR JOB SO YOUR TEAM WILL DO THEIRS!!!

Been staying here everytime we’re in town and it is amazing! The staff at the front desk is always very helpful and always remembers which rooms we like to stay in! Room service is very accommodating and Jose and crew always welcome us with a smile!! I’d give more then 5 stars if it was possible

Great for the price, got a decently comfortable bed... now the reason I want to comment- go down to breakfast and the staff woman is like a sentinel zeroing in on any slight change happening, she is so hyper focused on cleaning she doesn't realize when it's an inappropriate time to do it- she put her rag next to my food and as soon as I shifted over slightly she picked up my cup from the top and started sloshing her rag right next to my food. There was another couple sitting near me and she started cleaning their table while their food was there. The toaster would go off or a microwave would ding and she'd announce it like you can't get it out of her way fast enough so she can lather her rag against it. Wasn't necessarily a bad thing just hilarious to me how she chased people around with her rag with no discretion to whether you were still eating or not. Keep it clean

Positive: Location. The lobby was really pretty, all decorated for Christmas. Full breakfast with all selections available. Negative: Some features in our room showed some wear, and would discourage some guests (not us). Frayed chair arms, scratched up cupboard door to the refrigerator. No door on the freezer; maybe it came that way? Very clean and comfortable. All utilities worked.

Bed Bugs!!!! Grosssssss. This place wasn’t super clean from the beginning but as of lately it’s like they really don’t care if you stay or not. I’ve stayed a few times but the last visit was disgusting . I didn’t want to touch anything and kept my clothes in one corner in a bag. Smells horrible sticky tables and hair all over in the bathroom. My boyfriend and I woke up with bites the following day and still waiting on the manager to give me a call back from over a week ago. I’ve called a few times and was told to call back. Not one sincere apology from their staff. Go anywhere else but here it’s seriously not worth it

I do not like giving bad reviews. Unfortunately, we will not stay here again unless things change drastically. I've stayed at Comfort Suite hotels elsewhere and they are very nice.

1. The Lobby is pretty clean but that is where the cleaning ends.
2. The halls and rooms reek of smoke and Marijuana as well as having burn marks all over the carpet in the room.
3. Elevator door tracks are filthy (a good way to judge the quality of the maintenance).
4. The elevators would show the wrong floor (inside the elevator). Such as "you are on the 2nd floor" when you are actually at the lobby.
5. No one came to clean the room for the three days we were there.
6. The fire alarm was continuously in "trouble" mode and beeped the entire time (not that you'd hear it from the room). I was told that all the systems were working properly but they needed to pay the service company $20,000 before they would come. I happen to know that is quite possible because I managed the maintenance on multiple buildings. It usually means that the system is "priority" driven. In other words, only one company has the license to provide and maintain the software and you have to pay them up front before they do it. Not sure if that is the reason. Anyway, the system showed several different faults. I think there is something definitely wrong.
7. The best feature here is the standard breakfasts that are served. They lady there was excellent. She got all the tips that I would have left for the room cleaners that never showed up and I tip well.

I was told that the hotel was recently purchased and they were trying to do something about the conditions. I have no idea if that is true. One of the people at the front desk seemed more interested in his phone than anything else.

I just left a 5 star rating for the Comfort Suites in Camp Hill Harrisburg. I'm not that hard to please :).

Very clean affordable hotel. Close to a lot of good places to eat and the customer service is excellent. Would def recommend if you’re visiting or just looking to get away.
