Wonderful historical home in Ashford Connecticut. Comfy stay with an delicious full breakfast. Tough to beat this one of a kind place. We stayed for an evening and where surprised by the full breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly to our requests, we dined in a well light large room with a nice view of the adjoining farmland.

We enjoyed our stay at the Henrietta house. Marian and Jasmine were excellent hosts . This historic home was warm and inviting. The breakfast using their own home grown food was deliciously prepared. During breakfast We enjoyed interesting conversation learning about how Henrietta house began! We look forward to a future visit.

This was mine and my husband's second stop on our New England road trip. What a quaint and perfect bed and breakfast! Marian and Jasmine were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home along with the dog and cat, Moonbeam and Sunny. The house is very old and they've done a very good job at maintaining it, but still making it feel luxurious. Breakfast was amazing and fresh. We highly recommend Henrietta House, you will not be disappointed!

Stepping into this 300 year old home will lower your blood pressure and allow you to relax and live in a simpler past for a night or two. Nothing is homogenized modern nor sterile nor Martha Stewart. The rambling, rustic, English style house & gardens, old world barn, massive, twisting brick central chimney and eclectic collection of vintage art from around the world all add up to a fascinating few hours in a very interesting world. Marion, the owner, has travelled the world from Bali to Greece as an educator and scuba diver. She is one of the warmest, sweetest and brightest people I have ever met. Jasmine is the hard working hostess who will make you instantly feel at home, happily give travel advice at 9 o'clock at night, and make you wish she was your friend back home. The deep dish french toast, home made goat yogurt, fresh fruit from the garden, local black currant juice and much more were an especially delicious breakfast. We really hope to return someday.

Great B&B! Charming New England house - soooo historic New Englad!! Beautiful surroundings, cozy private rooms, nice amenities (ice water and hot tea upon arrival, wonderful deep bathrub with bath salts and interesting soaps!). Most important of all -- GREAT people! Enjoyed chatting with Marion and Jasmine and getting to know the pets. |We stayed for one night because we were in transit but we had such a nice time, we're thinking of staying again just for fun sometime! Especially when we think about how they spoiled us with that amazing breakfast in the authentic historic dining room looking out over the barn and woods! You won't find better popovers! |Overall, they specialize, and succeed, in warm hospitality. We totally 100% recommend staying here. Charming!

Lovely stay at the Henrietta Inn! Jasmine the hostess made the stay so pleasant. Wonderful country Inn with a fabulous breakfast. The room was large and beautifully decorated. My personal preference is not a shared bathroom but it all worked out.

Amazing local farm bed and breakfast!! My wife, dog, and I stayed for two days and had an great experience. There are great hiking trails behind the farm that we enjoyed taking our dog. Very close to UCONN's campus and there's other fun New England towns to visit. Great breakfast conversations. Finally, I cannot say enough about how accommodating the hosts were to our dog!!!

My husband and I made a pit stop here on our way to Maine (October 2022) for a stay and were blown away. Jasmine is an angel and made us the best vegan breakfast, which included the most delicious oatmeal (with homemade granola) we've ever had at a bed and breakfast, and the best black currant juice I've ever had (from a local business). Our room, the Henrietta suite, was divine and the view was an extraordinary autumn landscape (including their sweet goats and chickens!)
