Came here for a quick bite and to see Anthony Gomes. Excellent show. Great server. Burgers were good, and chicken wrap was so-so. Wings were terrible. (Sorry guys, it is what it is) Beer flowed rather smoothly. The guy who handles the sound did phenomenal.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot to satisfy your cravings in Manchester, CT, you have to check out Hungry Tiger! This place has a way of making you feel right at home the moment you step through the door. The ambiance is welcoming, with warm lighting and friendly decor that invites you to kick back and enjoy your meal.

Now, let’s talk about the food. One of their standout highlights is the cheese fries. Seriously, these are not your ordinary fries—they’re loaded with gooey, melty cheese that’s just the right amount of indulgent. Perfect for sharing (or not, we won’t judge if you want them all to yourself!).

The service at Hungry Tiger is pretty solid, too. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, striking that perfect balance that keeps your dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. Whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely dinner, you’ll feel well taken care of.

While I didn’t catch a specific signature dish on the menu, the variety of options speaks to the heart of comfort food. There’s something for everyone, making it a great spot for a casual night out or a family gathering.

Overall, Hungry Tiger is definitely worth a visit if you want a laid-back vibe and some seriously good eats. Grab your friends, order those cheese fries, and enjoy a night of good food and good company!

When are you open? I tried going twice for lunch only to find the doors still locked, even the beer guy was waiting this time. Your sign clearly says 11:30. I was there at 12:05 and the place was locked up. This wasn't the 1st time either. Although, I did not check the doors the 1st time to be honest. No lights where on at 11:45 am.

Stop by to eat dinner plus I heard there were live music there. I pay a cover charge of $10. The first thing I noticed is the place is small. I got a seat at the bar and I believed I ordered a mixed sampler and I asked the bartender to make me something sweet. The food was not bad. I dislike the cheese stick because I believe it was not cooked enough. The inside was cold. But my drink was great. My fee all together was $22. The service was good.

While I waited for my food, I noticed there were hooks around the bar area. I thought that was great because I did not want to hold my items. In addition, the band that night was great.

We paid for tickets to see a band, and we were not told we had to reserve a table if we wanted to watch the band. We were told to sit in the back room. When the waitress finally came over to our table about 15 minutes after we sat down, she seemed as if she really didn't know her job. We waited one and a half hours to get our food, but only 2 out of the 4 people at the same table had their dinner served. The waitress said she didn't know that that person had ordered a dinner. She asked if he still wanted it, she said she couldn't put the order in now because the kitchen was busy. I received my appetizer first but then had to ask about where my dinner was. She looked as if she had no idea what I was talking about. I needed to remind her what it was. She brought me my dinner, but it wasn't hot like it should have been. It was almost cold. The person, without his dinner, finally was served his appetizers! Still no dinner. He asked her if his meal was on its way out, she said no, but she'll put in the order now. He asked for a cheeseburger and French fries instead. about a half hour later, she brought out the meal he originally ordered. As we waited for our meal we saw every person waiting for thiers too. In two different tables each of them waited 2 hours each for their meals. Another table was served one meal, and there were 3 other people at that table still waiting for them. They waited an hour for the one meal instead of 4. The people canceled their order and left. The waitress came over and asked if I wanted to check, I told her no because I wasn't paying. I told her how disappointed I was with my meal and everyone at the table agreed. Her statement to me and my husband was, "This is more of a bar than a restaurant." If it were my choice, she wouldn't have gotten a tip at all. I saw a guy walking around to some of the tables telling them how sorry he was because it was taking so long and watched his disturb some of thier bill and give someone else a chip for a free drink. No one apologized to us, but now we know not to go there again. We spent wasted money to see a band that we couldn't even see.

I've been here a few times, and every time I've gone the service has been subpar. Either takes forever to get drinks/food, or no one ever comes back once it's delivered. There's also always live music when I go, which I normally love, but sometimes the singers are meh. The food I've gotten is pretty decent, so no real complaints there other than the time it takes sometimes.
