This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. No notifications about the the amenities being broken and shut down. While trying to get to my room I had to step over large wires running through hallways and hanging out of the ceilings. The hallways also had dust and ceiling particles all over from the work going on. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. The breakfast didn't taste good. Eggs tasted like powder and water and were super dry. Then I get back to my room to relax till check out and there is a random man in my room drilling and cutting in the wall to update stuff. I never got a notification from anyone telling me this was happening. He just showed up. That definitely could have been done when I checked out and the room was being cleaned. I check out hours early because I couldn't deal with the noise of drilling through metal. This was my 1st time staying in a hilton hotel and I don't know if I ever will again. I definitely feel like I wasted my money.

I waited weeks. Hoping id feel different, unfortunately I do not.

I only use Hilton. Usually, I will choose Hampton, the breakfast is ALWAYS good.

So service at the front desk was hit or miss. One lady would not stand up, smack lips while talking, and offer NO solutions to every single NO we got. Informed not only are we not allowed to have company in room, but they will evict for being in the LOBBY.

Snowstorm ruined our trip, homewood is an extended stay facility that is supposed to make you feel at home with EXTRA hospitality. I felt like a red headed step child, the black sheep. Everything I asked was met with attitude.

Breakfast. DRY DRY DRY. I can eat hotel eggs, no problem with all my traveling. Not these! Even added hot sauce, it was the texture of hydrophobic soil! The meat was mystery meat, staff couldn't tell you anything about the food. I had to eat bagel 🥯 and cereal. Making me sick for part of the stay. Since I was not staying just one day I went and bought my own food for the room. However the staff made sure the people they knew (most likely family) was eating and talked with them. Coffee only out and fresh for breakfast.

Everywhere smelled like weed. IDC if its legal, so are cigarettes we don't want to smell or have your breath knocked out by how strong. Stay away if asthma is sensitive.

The room was clean. The location was convenient for this stay. However, next time I fly to CT, I will stay at Hampton again at the bottom of the hill.

The service added a level of stress I didn't need. There is too much to complain about, really. 3 stars. Unapologetic like customer service.

You can preview other reviews, I'm usually positive. Never this loooong. This trip was a very important memory in the making, a milestone you don't get a second chance. Homewood almost succeeded at ruining it.

The room was nice with plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. However I have one gripe about this place. I booked this room using my Visa card points program and when I checked in they put a $200 charge on my credit card in case there were incidentals and assured me this charge would disappear after I checked out. Upon check out I was told the $200 charge would stay against my card for st least 3 days. Somehow this does not seem right. I booked using my visa points to avoid any charges. ||The free breakfast: don’t! The juice and coffee were great. The rest not worth the free charge.

The hotel is conveniently located close to I-84. We have stayed here a few times. Check-in was easy, our room was ready. We had a 1 bedroom suite. We noticed that the hotel could stand to be renovated. The carpet in the room was old, the furniture was a bit worn and showing it's age. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Hand soap and lotion by the sink. We liked have a full size refrigerator. We remembered breakfast as being very good, this time we were disappointed. Fresh OJ, apple juice, make your own waffle, bread, toast, and make your own tortillas. They used to have fresh cut up fruit, and yogurt. Sign of the times I guess. A major inconvenience was the elevator near the lobby. It broken, and the only elevator was a bit of a walk to get to. I got sick while there and we had to leave 2 days early. I want to thank Brandon, the manager, for not charging us for the 2 days we were not staying. Much appreciated! Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Front desk was nice is about the only reason I stayed for 3 nights. When I get into my room there was hair in the refrigerator. I had to go downstairs and get a sponge to clean it myself. The next morning I went down to the free breakfast and there was a long hair wrapped around my bagel. The girl in the kitchen was so loud talking about a guy she meet. But she didn’t want to stay the night at his house because she was on her period. Hotel is a bit run down. I will not be staying there again.

This facility is severely under maintained. The carpets in the halls and bedrooms are filthy. The digital keys used from the app work half the time which is really frustrating when one of the elevators is broke and you have to go to the other side of the building and can’t get in. Half the exterior sign is out. It’s clear the owners don’t care about this facility. They didn’t even have someone clean my room the next day after I told them the carpets were filthy

We checked into Homewood Suites after a horrendous stay at a previous hotel nearby. The hotel manager, Brendan listened to our horror story and reassured us that we are in safe hands. He was correct! We stayed 15 nights and we didn't want to leave!!!! We got to know the staff and guests at the hotel. Everyone was friendly and professional. The hotel is clean!!! Breakfast was delicious! Good coffee!! Every Wednesday there was a get together with salads, cheese board, wine, soups etc. We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool spa. Clean and plenty of pool towels! The greatest compliment to the staff that I can give is that the hotel felt like home!!! So aptly named too!!!

Positive: pool, spacious room Negative: The GM had a terrible attitude and did not make my family feel welcome only his staff did. That's why we stayed.
