I believe the review prior to mine is titled “What Every Hampton should be” and I couldn’t agree more. We stayed just one night at this Hampton due to attending a funeral in the area but I was impressed. We tend to seek out the Hampton brand if possible as we appreciate the pools and breakfasts, so we have stayed in quite a few, and this was definitely one of the best ones. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a Hampton Inn. ||The area also has a lot of restaurants and there is a Trader Joe’s in the plaza if you need snacks. The only downside was the entrance was a bit confusing entering for the first time at night, but we still found it. ||I would happily stay at this Hampton again.

My wife and i stay here frequently as its 1/2 way between our house and our daughter’s home and close to the highway. Hotel is very clean, rooms and eating area well maintained and the staff we have interacted with are kind and helpful. Breakfast is adequate and always has a couple of options. Love the cookies in the lobby at night. (Although not on Sunday night 😔)
Now for my complaint. We have had to move our room a few times due to the noise of the ac/heating system. The fan is so loud when the temp is changing that even with our hearing aides out it’s beyond annoying. Our stay the other day we didnt notice any noise as the room was a comfortable temp throughout the evening. Problem occurred after midnight. Room was set at 74 (much too warm for us sleeping) as soon as we turned it down it was clanging and buzzing and sounded like a plane was landing outside the window! It was the middle of the night and my wife was not feeling well so we did not call the front desk. (I know they would have offered another room, it has happened before) We left early the next morning and tried to let the front desk know of the issue (for future visitors) but no one answered. Nor did an answering machine pick up. As we left there was no one at the front desk eiher. So if someone reads this review please check Room 231’s heat. It really is an issue. The other issues here at this location are the towels and washcloths are very, very scratchy and rough, the bed pillows very flimsy. We have gotten around those issues by bringing our own wash cloths and traveling with a pillow for my wife. It takes 4 of the this hotel’s pillows for me. But we do so appreciate having a clean well

We are a senior couple and We stay here every few months while going to and coming from NY. It’s a half way spot for us. Great easy access to interstates. Once you figure out the hotel entrance has to be reached by going thru the mall parking lot it’s easy to get to. Hotel is quiet (with the exception of some heating issue sounds) Staff members we have met are wonderful. I usually use the app for checking inn and out so very seldom stop at the front desk. We have had issues with a noisy heating (and ac) system. It really should be fixed! Last stay it was room 231. The heat was set at 74 and when we tried to lower it the radiator sounded like it was blowing up. We have a list of rooms we will not stay in because you just can’t sleep with the noise from the radiator in certain rooms. Most of our issues have been on the second floor so we will avoid that floor in the future. The rooms are clean and king size bed is roomy but beware very firm. The bathroom has what is needed in supplies although the towels are very rough on your skin. TV has good reception and you can sign into your home streaming apps easily. Seating is nice. Pillows are just very sad. Floppy and not comfortable at all. (I have started bringing my own but wish i didn't have to! Indoor pool, only used it once but temp was good and like everything else area clean! Rooms have mini fridge, microwave and there is a Trader Joes in the attached plaza with great heat up
Meals if you need dinner or snacks…Breakfast is always more than adequate . Eggs, breakfast meats, bagels, scones, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit and of course make your own waffles. We will be back.

I travel a LOT for work and staying at a Hilton brand hotel is my preference. I must say how very pleased I was with the hospitable, professional service I received, quietness and cleanliness of the room and excellent location of the Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford-Manchester! I always expect the Hilton Promise: The Hilton Promise is a set of standards that Hilton uses to provide a positive guest experience. The promise includes delivering exceptional customer service, respecting privacy, and protecting personal information. I would like to acknowledge Natasha, Jalen, Francisco, Christopher and the Management Team for honoring me as a Hilton Honors Member and treating me as such! When I return to the Manchester area, I will not hesitate to make my accommodations here again!

We're getting our main bathroom remodeled and we only have one shower for now, which was out of commission. We needed to take showers so went here because, for one, it is 5 minutes from our home and it is in a very good area. The hotel was very clean. Has a large pool, gym and business area, small canteen for snacks and continental breakfast. Great amenities including a microwave and refrigerator in the room. We got a king size bedroom. The bed was large, had a separate chair and small table, a desk, dressers, closet with iron, large bathroom with walk in shower. The shower head is made for taller people because it was way up there. Only issue with that is it made for a lot of water splashing and going places other than directly where I wanted it to go. I'm on the shorter side. The bathroom was equipped with lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, mounted to the walls. The ceilings in the room were very high. It shares a parking lot with a burger joint with ok food and other restaurants are in an adjoining lot. And of course, you are in the Buckland Hills area so everything is minutes away. Restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Great area. Only cons for me...which are important to me, are, although the bed was huge and comfy initially, my body was very sore the next day. The pillows are small and flimsy and the towels are rough and scratchy. The room was a great size and I will go back but those cons made it less luxurious. Since it is close to home, I will be bringing my own towels. I'm actually on my way back there now. Met my needs and recommend.

Clean, big room with very comfortable, firm bed. Easy location close to lots of chain food options and stores, direct highway access. We stayed here for a Hartford even and it took less than 15 minutes to get into the city. Standard hotel breakfast, great, clean pool at the perfect temp. Would definitely stay at this location again.

We were thoroughly pleased with the great renovation/refurbishment of this hotel (we think it was completed about 1.5 yrs ago) as this was our first visit back in several years. The set-up of the king suite was great. But even making us happier was the conversion of the tubs to walk in showers, making the shower a nice size and roomy (we heard some rooms still have tubs). Breakfast was good and plenty to choose from. Room very clean, staff was friendly and always had a smile. Bed was comfortable as you would expect from a Hilton hotel.|An extra special shout out to Angel, who worked at the reception desk. With Hurricane Milton approaching FL and our flight home in doubt, Angel was just that, an Angel, as he assisted us in extending our stay in the same accommodations until we could leave for our re-booked flight 3 days later. Without his assistance, we would have been looking for another hotel. We regret we weren't able to personally thank him again when we left as he was not on duty. |Tip: if you go to the Artisanal Burgers next door, don't forget to show your room key for a 10% discount.

Stayed here during a snowstorm. Best way to enjoy some qt. The room was very clean, and breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again.
