We arrived late in the evening and Takisha was the front desk agent. She was helping another gentleman ahead of us with an issue. She was being very helpful and he seemed satisfied with the result. She took the time to acknowledge us and that she would be right with us. Once she got to us she was very friendly and personable. We got up to our room and it was very clean and cool! This a big deal to me, I hate a hot hotel room that will not cool down. The room was very clean and the sheets were super soft. All the things you want after a long day on the road. The next morning we went down to the hotel restaurant for breakfast and the lady ( I didn't get her name but she had long braids and a great smile) who waited on us was wonderful, super friendly, and made the best sweet tea. We stopped at the front desk and spoke to Alana, who was also very nice and told her about our experience with Takisha and overall stay. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was great!

My overall experience with the hotel is, it was amazing. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stay there again. We were constantly in and out so we didn't get to enjoy the amenities but I saw others enjoying themselves so that was good. It's in the perfect location for all kinds of shopping and dining out.

The check-in was easy and fast. Maddie was very friendly and welcoming but the other lady Alana was short, dismissal and not as inviting. But I digress!!!

I reserved two rooms (single and double occupancy). The single room was very clean and comfortable. It had some minor chipping of paint here and there but the hotel is being renovated so that was fine. The only issue with the double occupancy was the TV didn't work. I asked for someone to come check it out, he was very punctual and tried to fix it but it didn't work but hey that was ok.

Besides the very small issues, I will still give the hotel 5 stars ?

Don't stay at the hotel. Even the Embassy include breakfast. This place don't give a bowl of cereal. The breakfast was 40.00 and on the menu it said beverages was free whelp it was included on the ticket and the breakfast was nasty. The room was remodeled they say. I cut the shower on and the water went on the floor by the sink even with me turning the jets the opposite direction. The toilet was dirty it had yellow urine on it. The bed had hair in it.

We had to make an emergency stop due to our child getting sick on a weekend getaway trip. After arriving late to the hospital in the evening we found The hotel is located across the street. We reserved the night and due to him being admitted we ended up having to extend it 2 more days. The hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us as they were under renovations and adding in Memorial Day weekend so inventory was not at its highest. I can not express how grateful we were during this time that they found a way to get us the accommodations we needed while we waited for updates. This hotel is undergoing renovations, nice and clean and very well maintained. The location and proximity to the hospital is perfect.

The price was reasonable for a non-peak season visit. But the name Hilton garden inn raises your expectations. It really is nothing very special. My only suggestions for Hilton: use a standard sheet on the bed instead of the mini comforter sheet. Some people like to sleep with just a sheet. The mini comforter sheet is too hot. Get rid of the cheap plastic toilet seat. It tries to move around when you sit on it.

Good clean establishment. Room was cleaned everyday. Hotel in general was clean. The bar downstairs in the evening is a great place to unwind with a cold beverage and take advantage of their happy hour.

Our stay at the Hilton was overall very pleasant. We would stay here again!
Although the hotel was nice, I wouldn’t describe it as “luxary”. It was however, the best option in town. There were a few cons, which I listed below.

Pros:
-coffee maker was clean
-gym is nice - has peleton bike
-room was updated
-accepts dogs ; biggest selling factor for us
-hotel and room was well maintained. No sign of wear from animals , no smells
-pool was clean and maintained. You can see the pool from the gym window, a plus if you have kids you’d like to keep an eye on.
-shampoo & conditioner provided was the best I’ve ever used from a hotel before !

Con:
- elevator was past due for service

-AC was iffy and struggling . Thermostat only read 74- 78 the entire time . We believe it was cooler than this, but still we were uncomfortably hot at many points

-you could hear in the hallway.

-keycards kept not working. We had to go down to the front desk on 3 occasions because our keycards wouldn’t work.

-door would not shut unless slammed. If we hadn’t noticed, anyone could have been able to get into our room with a light push on the door

I arrived to my hotel room after al long day working. I grabbed food and headed to my room. I turned the TV on and changed the channel. My TV was stuck and would not change the channel now it's only static. I called to report this issue around 930. I was told someone would be by to fix the issue. I stayed dressed just in case. I called the front desk back by 1015 because no one arrived yet. I was informed that he was on the way. The maintenance guy called someone on his phone and I could tell that this issue would not be resolved. I called the front desk back to see if there were any other rooms available due to it being 1030 & I have to wake up early for work. I was informed that there were NO rooms available and there was nothing that they could do. I could talk to the supervisor in the morning. The maintenance guy tried a few more things and he called to inform them that he could not resolve this issue. It's 1045pm he calls the front desk and a new room was provided. This wasted an hour of my sleep due to being told that there were no rooms available. The evening supervisor was not very helpful at all almost like this was my issue not theirs. I called to get her last name but she would not provide it. Her first name is Takisha. She is not helpful with any issues.
