Great for a quick getaway. Easy access, location is perfect to do a few things or nothing. The room is much larger than expected. A full sized refrigerator is surprising. We like the contactless check in and check out. It was nice to find it available within three hours of a spontaneous trip! If you need to be in Pascagoula for an extended stay this will work. The closet is large enough for a full size air mattress if you need another “bedroom.” There is a ridiculous amount or storage space in the bathroom and kitchen.
Only one slight negative…the train. Just bring a pair of earplugs and you will be fine.

Cute new hotel in downtown Pascagoula. No check in you are sent your room code to get into hotel. If you have any issues there is an answering service phone number you call. Small hotel 16 rooms. Room 209 is a King sized platform bed- I found the mattress too firm and hard to sleep on. Balcony room over looking the street. Balcony is open across all rooms . There is fridge and keurig No microwave . Decorated in creams and whites and gold. Roku TV . Alarm clock with usb charger. Uncle Joes pizza restaurant downstairs not affiliated with hotel. They will change out towels and bring more coffee if you hang sign out, they do not make the bed or clean room. Check out is at 10am , you just leave there is no one to check out with.

Although the property is contactless, the experience was definitely unique (in a good way). The property is located directly above a restaurant which the food was great. The only way to access the property and the rooms is with a security code that is provided at check-in which was pretty neat if I do say so myself. They room came with a balcony view which overlooked the Downton area which was great. Overall for the amount we paid was well worth it! I would definitely recommend this property to others.

When booking, we had expectations that this would be a hotel due to the name of the building. I was a bit surprised pre arrival that I got a message for a code. Before we arrive to the hotel, we call to see if we can get an early check in. It was around 1pm and the woman said absolutely, nobody had arrived the day before so we just need to call when we get there. We arrive and the parking was impossible. It says that parking was only for guests of whiskey but everyone was parking for the parade/market and waited 20 minutes for a spot. We arrive and couldn’t enter due to the code and were surprised at the lack of workers there. We had to go through the restaurant. We spoke to the customer service team a total of 4 additional times to reach out to the staff to open the door. After several promises of call backs, there were none. No workers to be found but it’s a hotel This was basically an airbnb and that was the opposite of what I booked. After standing in front of the door for a good 30/40 minutes after being promised an early check in, I finally received a call from “management”. Very confused by the initial of the call as she stated “she was taking care of her niece or nephew and didn’t hear the phone ringing”. Again very confused by no staff as this was a “hotel” I booked. Then the woman stated that “they were doing me a favor of checking in early and it was only 30 minutes before check in”. Again, i understand the “favor” of the early check in however I would have never been upset if I was told that I couldn’t check in early and had to wait. I would’ve been completely fine and understanding. The frustration comes from over promising (early check in and just stating to call) and under delivering (calls several times and no assistance provided and then starts to insult me with the choice of words used). Again, the name is Hotel Whiskey. It was not booked on Airbnb or sold as airbnb. This is not a hotel in any way shape or form. This is an airbnb. Hotels have staff present and front desk to check into. I have traveled to several advanced countries (ex. Japan) that use technology nothing like the US and have electronic check in similar to what we experienced however had staff available 24/7 to assist. In regards to the room, very beautiful design I can’t lie. Bed was comfortable etc. The bathroom was dirty, the shower had hairs and wasn’t fully clean. The iron was working but had glitter all over it and ruined my partners suit. I couldn’t even ask for a replacement because there was nobody to ask lol. I did appreciate the water and snacks, that was very kind. Then check out at 10 am lol that’s crazy. Again, I booked it and it was stated on the website but that’s harsh for a hotel. Earliest check outs are usually 11am/12pm. But again, it was communicated before when booking so I can’t complain. Again, this is not a hotel. This is an airbnb. It was not worth $400 for an airbnb that’s ridiculous. Nobody should stay here unless they understand that this is not a hotel and since it’s an airbnb the cost needs to change.

I stayed this past week, and it was remarkable. The room and lobby was clean and elegantly decorated. I sat out on the balcony that night, enjoyed a cold beer, and listened to the live music playing around the corner. Nothing else in the city compares in quality & service. Definitely will be back.

Very enjoyable stay. Room was immaculate and included great snacks and water. Coming in from 100 degree heat to a nice cold room was great. Would highly recommend and am looking to stay in their other locations in the future.
