Even the overnight staff at this hotel was friendly and engaging. I appreciated the chaise lounge chair in the room, which was nice for evening and early morning relaxation. The room was super clean, except for the carpet, which I noticed when doing yoga on the floor. The carpet in the elevators and stairways needs replacement. I loved my stay here, and I will be staying again in the future. It was very close to my family's home.

I stayed here twice (separated by 7 days) and feel this is a model for excellence that Holiday Inn Express management should acknowledge. Sure it was clean, quiet and comfortable. But, many hotels are that. What makes this one stand out is the exceptional care, courtesy and professionalism is the staff - all the staff. I didn’t encounter one person that I would not want working for me. Each individual was knowledgeable and went out of their way to accommodate my needs including one that involved some special work on their part. Then when I was checking in the second time, there were 4 people in line in front of me. They were receiving great attention by the woman helping them. It was obvious that all were happy with the care they were being given. As I was waiting, a man came out of nowhere and began to help me. He must have been watching the lobby and recognized a back-up. My checkin was processed efficiently and I was off to my room. All the people who work there were prompt and professional while at the same time very friendly. This is definitely the best HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS I’ve stayed at!

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express for 1 week the beginning of December. Upon arrival, the front desk employee was friendly and answered our questions. The linens were fresh, with extra pillows on the bed and the mattress was comfortable. We enjoyed talking with the breakfast area employee who was pleasant, working by herself and did an excellent job making sure everything was available. The hot foods included Turkey sausage patties, pork sausage links, folded egg white omelets, scrambled eggs and diced potatoes. These items were available every morning. Oatmeal was included as well as cold cereal, and a pancake maker. Hot Cinnamon rolls, bagels, muffins and bread for toast are offered. We enjoyed our stay at this location.

Just wanted to say that the staff were very personable. The rooms are always clean when asked to do so breakfast was good consistent hot and ready to go highly recommend this hotel to stay at thank you.

The only thing I would say for management is to remove all carpet and get regular tile or wood floors probably tile I’ve seen many of these in Holiday Inn expresses in my travels. Highly recommended for better cleanliness.

We stayed here to be close to friends who live near the city hall of Peoria. Also, this location is adjacent to the AZ 101 freeway, so it's easy to get to from nearly anywhere in Phoenix. For instance, we got here from the famous Scottsdale Fashion Mall in 40 minutes.

The hotel is laid out conventionally, and they are renovating the interior. We used the luggage cart to take our luggage upstairs. We stayed 2 nights, and the breakfast selection was varied and ample. The service was excellent, especially on Christmas Eve.

We will certainly stay here again. Although close to the freeway, the cul-de-sac nature of the street means there is no through traffic.

After a long drive, it was nice to see how easy it was to access this hotel off the main highway. The parking lot is well lit and it sits right next to a Cracker Barrell. We were greeted warmly by the staff in the welcoming lobby. The rooms are spacious and clean and liked how the sink and vanity were located outside of the bathroom/shower area. Also compared to local competitors in the area, the rates were better. When in town, this will be the first hotel we consider, as this was an excellent experience all the way around.

Okay for one night. It was definitely clean. We are familiar with other IHG hotels that seem a bit more comfortable. It is located in an industrial area and very close to the highway. While this may be an advantage for many, it also comes with some noise. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, we would stay there again.

Positives: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice towels. The furniture included a desk, a comfortable desk chair as well as a movable hassock, a kind of couch in the corner and a small portable table. There was plenty of counter space and shelves to put bags on. The room was well lit with multiple lamps. It was a pleasant and relaxing room. The breakfast was OK, but unexceptional. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives.
Negatives: The room had the type of in-room A/C unit that is nearly ubiquitous in mid-priced hotels (it wasn't as noisy as some, but I still don't like them). The A/C unit blew directly into the desk area with no way to adjust it and I could barely hear the TV over the sound of the unit. The lighting is all fluorescent. One other thing that probably won't matter to most. The pool is very small. It's probably great to cool off in on a warm day but too small if you swim for exercise.
