No Working Hot Tub and Rudest Hotel Staff Ever

Breakfast was great and the staff member that ran it was friendly, polite and helpful. Location was good as my event was across the street. Free parking was nice. Internet was adequate. Wokout area was good.

Hot tub not working and supposedly hasn't worked for 6 months or more. We tried to get in the back door with our room key shortly after arrival and could not. There were no signs on the door indicating it wasn't working. We came around to the front desk and the staff member said it's not working and there should be a sign on the door. On a Monday in the middle of our day, the water was turned off for 5-6 hours. We were not notified in advance, however after going out in the morning, when we came back there were signs everywhere. They would have known about the boiler being replaced on the previous Friday and should have put signs up then so guests could plan. With one or two exceptions, the staff were rude and very unhelpful. For the price we paid for the room and the fact that this is a Wyndham branded hotel, I expect better.

My partner accidentally left some things in the room. We contacted them about having them sent to us. They said they had a box to put the items in but we needed to send them a label. They weren't able to tell us the weight and the dimensions of the box, so we had no idea how much postage to send. After several back and forth emails and phone calls, I sent them a priority mail box (had to send 10) and then a priority mail shipping label. The items were finally shipped out this week, but what a unnecessary hassle.

For the most part, this is a poorly managed hotel with staff who seem to think the guests are an inconvenience.

Seasoned traveler here. Key wouldn’t work. Staff spent15 minutes as they tried to figure out what to do. Finally got us in. Bathroom was filthy. Came back to room at 10:30 PM. Key didn’t work. Snippy desk clerk took five minutes to come out, gave us another key that didn’t work. Another five minutes to rouse the now REALLY snippy clerk who finally got a key to work. In the morning it didn’t work again. Manager blamed us.

Rooms was very clean .breakfast in the morning was GREAT! Nice selection from eggs, pancakes and waffles and more. I liked the good size refrigerator and microwave in the room. Location is great for restaurants and shopping. I felt safe and secure with plenty of free parking. Definitely stay here again

On Friday booked a 2 night stay for that Saturday/Sunday. When we arrived on Saturday I informed the front desk that we’d only be staying Saturday as we needed to return home sooner than we’d planned. The girl told me she couldn’t cancel the Sunday reservation but I could visit the front desk Sunday morning and “those ladies could do it”. I went down Sunday morning and 2 young ladies (who never smiled nor even said Good Morning) told me they couldn’t cancel it and that I’d need to call Booking.com because I made the reservation thru them. I spoke to Booking and the nice lady cancelled my Sunday night stay and then needed to place me on hold “to get the cancellation approved”. When she came back on the line she told me my request was denied because she’d phoned the hotel and “they refused the cancellation request.” I went back downstairs and told the 2 unfriendly clerks that I was trying to do the right thing by simply paying for the one night we stayed but if they refused to cancel my Sunday night reservation then I’d contact my credit card company to dispute the entire charge. She again told me she couldn’t cancel it. On Monday I phoned the hotel to speak to the Manager & left a message for her to call me back. No response. I called again the next day and she was unavailable. I recounted my issue to the desk clerk “Alex” who stated they should have canceled my reservation upon check-in and that she’d speak to the Manager. I followed up AGAIN with Alex who informed me she’d spoken with the Manager and she denied my cancellation and refused to credit my card for one night’s stay. BEWARE, shady unprofessional characters working at this location-it’s ALL about the money!! I’d recommend staying any place else at all costs!

The hotel was very clean and well kept and it was right next to the stadium where we came to see the Padres play. The location was next to a lot of nice restaurants. Our family will definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent experience, the best hotel experience we've had in quite awhile. The room was spacious and clean, the neighborhood was good and conveniently located, the pool water was warm, and the hot breakfast was tasty. Wonderful all around stay.

The location is convenient but the hot tub does not work. Always wear shoes or socks because the carpets are filthy. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff was helpful during breakfast time.||For something to do in the area, the Zoo Safari aquarium was an awesome day.

My stay here was great. Clean room, pool, exercise room and perfect location near many restaurants. Also near family which was a plus for me. The only negative was their air deodorants. I think they could tone that down a bit.
