Oh geez, where to even start?
We were on our way home from hiking the Grand Canyon and didn't realize that Oktoberfest celebrations were going on, so not many hotels were available. It was late night when we arrived and we got the last rooms.
We paid $155 per room, which we expected at least a clean room for that amount. Wrong.
Our first concern was that the deadbolt didn't work.
It did still have the door handle lock and then also one of the latches that prevented the door from being opened more than 3 inches or so.

Our second concern was the dark brown sheets and towels. Most hotels use white linens so they can be washed in hot water and with bleach.
I do check for bedbugs at any hotel we stay in and at least they had a bed bug mattress cover, except it was the cheap plastic kind that crinkles when you move in your sleep.
The pillows had just the regular pillows case on them without a pillow protector under. The pillows looked yellowish and stuck partly out of the case.
Instead of a fitted sheet, they used a second flat sheet that wasn't long enough to tuck under the mattress.
An unknown stain was on the sheets so luckily we had our sleeping bags and slept in those.

The shower curtain had mold, the tub had hair and the drain was partially plugged, so it filled up with water. Mold stains were also evident above the shower.

Worse thing was at 3:30am someone knocked on the door. I got up to see if it was my daughter who was in the next room over. It wasn't. It was a drunk guy who was able to open the door (yes, the doorknob lock didn't work either we then found out). I pushed back and forth with him on the door while the latch which now was pulling out of the wall due to loose screws were threatening to let him in. My husband was pushing him out the doorway and yelling at him that he had the wrong room. He did leave without any more fuss, but what if he was someone trying to break in the room to do harm?
The next morning, we reported it all to the manager who half heartedly said sorry and that there's multiple locks on the door. We pointed out that they did not work.
It was obvious that we weren't going to get anywhere with him.
Just wanted to leave a review to help others know the risk you take when renting a room here.
I've stayed in cheaper price hotels which were much cleaner and safer than this one.

Despite some of the negative reviews, we didn't have any issues. Our room was clean and comfortable and what we'd expect for the price. It was in a decent location. We only stayed one night, but it was fine for us.

Had a decent experience. Loved the small touches they've given & making sure, most important things are indeed proper, to make sure clients have good experience. For instance, I liked the way they have stone layout in bathroom than sticky floors in most motels or hotels. Proper ventilation, parking space etc.

Coming to essentials, they had blankets, bedsheets, pillow cover etc, properly cleaned and no stains. Those are most important things for customer and you cannot fail in those essential stuff.

I did see a recent 1-review from someone and he said Owner called him small headed etc. If true, I hope management doesn't respond back to customers that way and aims for improvement. I wanted to talk to manager or owner on site to share above feedback but office was closed in the morning. Anyways, you've good property, hope you continue to give same service and succeed.

Suggestion: Switch away from brown sheets and drapes. It makes room dark and doesn't somehow give right ambience. It may help cover dust or stains but not a big fan of dark bed materials.

Possibly the worst service I've ever had at a hotel. Very rude. Very aggressive. Very hostile. Tried to charge me and my roomate for our ADA service animals then screamed over me when there was no reason (i wasnt raising my voice, i wasnt acting aggressive, i was asking questions). Once i said I no longer wanted to stay there, he started talking to me like I was poor and he was only trying to help me out. I told him it wasn't about the money, it was 100% about how he was choosing to talk to me. It was ridiculous and I will never go back. With so many hotels to choose from in the area, I would suggest avoiding this one at all costs.

The service here was terrible, the clerk kept hounding my sister on how many people were staying the night. She explained that she was there visiting her son from NAU & this man still called the room asking how many people were staying again my sister explained her son was there visiting, he wasn't staying the night! He totally ruined family time!!! He should be more worried about the mold growing in the restroom than hounding my sister on how many people were staying the night!!! Never again will she stay there!!! Totally unprofessional for a front office clerk to treat his customers the way thos man treated my sister🤬

Super dirty the table and floor was sticky.. stains on the bed.. random stains on the ceiling the door to the bathroom is dirty also.. blood stains inside of the bathroom and the refrigerator did not work

Worth motel experience I've ever had, including budget travel in third world countries. The bed smelt like urine and they refused to change our room or refund us.
