Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸 MAX runs the kitchen well. They are serving water more than they did last year. They serve potatoes more. They do not serve salads as much as before. But, they help others who need it. But, I can't give 5 stars as the food is donated for a reason. Yes, it sustains life, but us far from gourmet. It is a stage above dog food. 🐕Nice folks. God bless them for their service. But, there is a reason this food is donated- yes, it "sustains life", but not as edible as hospital food. The lunch given are bologna, or PBJ sandwiches and apples and a water. The water and apples are always 👌🏽. Avoid dining in- there are alot of low-liges that start fights. Best to grabs food in syryrafoam container in plastic bag outside! At times mild is on the bread, (see pic.) But, again, beggers can't be choosers. Aren't we all beggers? A lot of trashy folks come her. Lots of fights

This place is amazing! I am currently in a situation where I need assistance and knowing I can get enough food between this place, and The Golden Pantry has elevated a LOT of stress. Some of the stuff you get has gone bad, but you just have to be vigilant and wash your produce and inspect for mold. It happens in regular grocery stores all the time as well.

The volunteers, however, are what makes this place AMAZING! I have never come across anyone even remotely rude, mean, condescending, or anything even hinting at attitude. They are not only polite but they radiate happiness, go get them and you've got this attitude. Most people don't want to have to ask for help to begin with, and it can be kinda hard on the ego to go to these places, so it's very nice not to feel worse doing it. I think to me, the volunteers mean so much more than the service they provide.

I lived in flagstaff for roughly 4 years off and on I moved in 2015 the food center was my favorite place, I loved the reading program with Hannah, I know she’s not there anymore but the team that was there then were phenomenal and im sure it’s still as good as it was then just helping the community. I’ll never forget the food center

They're giving out half size sandwiches, and my sandwich had mold on it. Thankfully I have food stamps so I can go get food from a store.
