Disappointing bad food, and very limited choices.
First, they were out of the majority of the menu, we were down to 4th and 5th choices, they didn't even have eggrolls.
The sweet and sour soup was OK, the shrimp was 75% breading, still had the tails on, and was cooked in old oil. The sesame chicken was over breaded but otherwise cooked well.
The lo main was oily, but crab Rangoon was nice. The meal was unenjoyable and we left 75% of it at the table.
The ambiance was OK, but the music constantly cut out, and we were told that it was due to the music and the billing system being not being able to work at the same time. The bathrooms were a bit dirty.
The one plus was that the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cannot recommend.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The food is horribly overcooked and tastes old. I ordered the cashew chicken. The chicken was dry and the veggies were limp and mushy. The zucchini were soggy and slimy (see picture).
The boneless pork was no better with the meet gray and had chunks of fat.
All was flavorless.
Never again!!!

Mr. Rice, a buzzing Chinese eatery, has swiftly become the talk of the town. My recent visit there was nothing short of delightful, and I'm eager to share my experience.

Starting with the Orange Chicken paired with fried rice, the dish was a masterful blend of tangy and sweet flavors, perfectly complemented by the fluffy, well-seasoned rice. The hot & sour soup was a symphony of flavors, striking the right balance between spice and sourness, and the spring roll was a crispy, golden treat.

Next, the teriyaki chicken with sticky rice was a standout. The chicken was tender, and the teriyaki sauce had a deep, rich flavor that was both sweet and savory. The sticky rice was a perfect match, absorbing the sauce beautifully. The egg drop soup was a comforting, silky smooth delight, and the spring roll, consistent with the first, was delicious.

But the star of the meal was the extra-large shrimp egg roll – a crunchy, generously filled wonder that was both fresh and flavorful.

The ambiance of Mr. Rice added to the experience. It's a place that manages to be both cozy and elegant, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

A special mention must go to our waiter, Anthony. His attentive, friendly service was the cherry on top of an already fantastic meal. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and ensured our experience was nothing short of perfect.

Overall, Mr. Rice earns a well-deserved 4-star rating. It’s a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Chinese cuisine with a modern twist. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt, my new favorite Chinese restaurant!

The atmosphere was amazing.
Me and a friend went there when it wasn't very busy, so there was no one else.
It was calm, with slow Christmas music playing in the background. The food was absolutely amazing. And the waitress was lovely and quick with our food.
This place is highly underrated and perfect for people who hate crowded and overstimulating restaurants.

Stopped in last Saturday. Was pleasantly surprised to see it was not an order-at-the-counter type restaurant (the pictures led me to believe it was).

There was plenty of parking, it was a nice open space, and very clean, with menus as part of the table settings. It was early so it was not crowded, but they were definitely doing a brisk carry out order.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and piping hot. One other surprise for us was the amount of rice that came out with the meals. In our dining experience, there is almost always twice as much rice as there is of the meat & vegetables. Not so with Mr Rice -- there was actually less rice; in fact, we joked that there almost wasn't enough. 🙂

There were a few items of note that cause me to give only four stars vs five: 1) the Thai tea tasted watered down, almost as if it was blended w/ water vs milk
2) the egg drop soup seemed to be lacking a few vegetables; I'm used to seeing peas & carrots at least in it, but their version just had corn
3) the food came out so quickly we wondered if it was made fresh to order or pulled from a large pan under a heat lamp

Regardless, everything was good! I especially enjoyed the salt & pepper tofu!

Mr. Rice Asian Cuisine is an absolute treasure for food lovers! Their General Tso’s Chicken is a showstopper—perfectly crispy, coated in a tangy-sweet glaze with just the right kick. The Egg Rolls are golden and packed with fresh, flavorful fillings, paired perfectly with their house-made sweet chili sauce. Don’t miss the Crab Rangoons, rich and creamy, or the House Special Fried Rice, a delicious medley of shrimp, chicken, beef, and veggies. The Beef and Broccoli and Shrimp Pad Thai are equally outstanding, bursting with fresh, bold flavors. Finish with the decadent Mango Sticky Rice for a sweet ending. Every bite is pure joy—this spot is a must-visit for anyone craving top-notch Asian cuisine! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When we entered Mr. Rice we were unsure if we were to sit or wait to be seated and had to ask the single cashier/waitress/hostess. When we sat, I noticed their menus were used to go menus and mine was falling apart. Not very sanitary for the world we live in today. We were able to put our order for drinks and an appetizer pretty quickly and later our main courses. The appetizer and the main courses came out one after the other; which was not ideal. We got the sampler appetizer which was delicious. My wife thought the beef was too fatty, but I didn't think so. We also ordered chicken fried rice, orange chicken and General Tso's chicken. The chicken was a little spicy according to my wife and kids, but I couldn't taste the spice. All the food was amazing in my opinion. The service was under par. The server/cashier/hostess checked on us maybe once (maybe not even). We had to ask for refills and actually had to get up to ask for napkins. I don't think the dine-in is busy enough to need another worker, the person working just needs to move a little faster and be more aware. I will not likely return to dine in, but will most definitely be ordering out from Mr. Rice. They may have taken the spot of my previous Chinese take out spot.

We just moved here. We ordered food and they sent my soup with NO juice. We had to mix the other dishes with the soup and it still didn’t work. They apologized and offered to fix it, but when I called to replace my order, they refused to honor what they said. The lack of customer service here is uncanny.
