Ate outdoors since we have a baby that gets a little crazy occasionally; glad we did! relaxing island feel, delicious food, perfectly fried and flavorful. By far the best place to eat on Dauphin Island that we have been to. Top shelf margaritas are pretty good too! We will be regulars whenever we are in town for sure.

Seafood bisque was so good I didn’t get a pic before I ate it! The spinach crab dip was really bland as were the in house chips, my husband’s fettuccine with crawfish and artichoke was delicious, my grouper was delicious, my daughters wings were eh. Overall some good, some not. Also the plates are huge, I should’ve just shared with some one

The service at Islanders was great! We made a reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary and asked to sit by a window. When we arrived, the hostess was so so sweet in making sure our table was perfect. She also checked in with us after we were seated to make sure our server had stopped by. We saw all the other negative reviews, but we were optimistic. Unfortunately, we would have to agree with other reviewers. The long wait for food (45 minutes just for drinks/appetizers and an hour for dinner) was not an issue, but our meals could have been better. The crab dip was delicious, and I would stop in just for that and drinks! The Caesar salad didn’t come dressed, and the bowl wasn’t big enough to mix at the table. Plus the Caesar dressing was not a typical Caesar; it was more of a garlic flavor. The steak was awful. There is no way it was a filet mignon. We ordered it medium, and it came out well done as was nearly impossible to even cut. Our waiter was very helpful and apologetic though which we certainly appreciated. The staff here is great, but something is definitely going wrong with the way things are run.

We ate here while on a long weekend vacation. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. The good was really good and tasted Great. The drinks where also good. It is just a nice place to eat. I have only ate here once but that one time was good. It was for sure my favorite meal on Dauphin Island.

We walked into the restaurant and they told us it would be a 20-25 minute wait, which was fine other than the fact the restaurant was almost completely empty. the wait turned into 35 minutes which is when we walked in and asked about the wait and they told us another 15 minutes. When we were finally seated it was by the hostess and she also took our order and put it in. our waitress came by 10 minutes after we were seated and gave us our drinks and didn’t come back until we had to wave her down for refills 30 minutes in with still no food (we ordered a grilled cheese, fried shrimp, and a sandwich). We had watched the hostess go outside for 15 minutes while we were waiting on our food and she was just sitting on her phone while a line of customers waited to be seated. The bartender actually ended up taking over her job and seating a few people. Around an hour into waiting for our food we had asked our waitress when it would be out and she had to come back and tell us 5 more minutes. The food had finally gotten to us and my grilled cheese was quite literally not grilled and the bread was extremely dry and tasted stale. The person who got the sandwich did not even get the sandwich they ordered but we didn't return it because we would have had to wait another hour for our food. Of the 7 different tables that had people at them within the first 45 minutes of us being there only one table had gotten there food and we even saw some people walk out when all they had were drinks. This was a horrible establishment and the way the owner is acting about the reviews is extremely unprofessional and no one should support this establishment.

So overall this was a nice place! The fact they allowed my dog out on the patio was the number one reason I came. The server was really sweet! The food was mid. Took an hour to get our food. Food was mediocre. My dog liked her chicken strips though and the onion rings were good. There was a group with really crazy wild kids and that was very annoying. Aside from that, it was a nice atmosphere and I would go back regardless of the food being mid.

We had a great experience here. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic. The service was a little slow, but it was peak season so it was a little expected. Overall it was a great experience.

I got the burger, thinking I was going to be lame. The patty was about 3/4" thick and cooked perfectly. Very good. The staff was very nice and attentive.
