So far not very positive, but will give them a chance to fix the plumbing issues which leads to a sewer smell and fix the safe which doesn't work. I do like the 10pm quiet time enforcement. Had several kid events happen here this weekend but REALLY went quiet right at 10pm. Front desk was attentive on check in. However loss of stars for housekeeping who walked in even though I had the sign on my door not to be disturbed.

I was in the area while my daughter had major surgery. The hotel was wonderful and all the staff were great. We had to extend our visit twice and we were able to do so with no problem.
My only dissatisfaction was with the restaurants inside the hotel. The dinner restaurant wasn't bad, just nothing on menu that for me from the Midwest that was normal food. The breakfast restaurant was buffet style and the hot food wasn't hot and the pastries didn't seem fresh. We just went out to eat and enjoyed Arizona and our hotel stay.

I had my wedding this past weekend. I had a lot of friends and family from out of town stay at this hotel. Everyone said the staff was accommodating and helpful. I had a room block here and I hosted a private cocktail party for my wedding guests here as well. I was working with Amy Ortiz, the sales manager, about organizing my party and room block. She was amazing to work with and was very accommodating when my other events were running late. Will definitely recommend Hilton double tree mesa for your private events and hotel stays. Shout out to captain Marvis and bartender Anita as well.

My experience was mixed. When I arrived my room had clearly only been spot cleaned for months. The bathroom needed a deep clean and there was some staining on the carpet. Otherwise it was a great experience. Easy to book. Easy check in. Friendly and informative staff. They were able to accommodate a longer stay. Location for me was further away than needed (but was based on price compared to other areas and was great!). Other than deep cleaning the rooms my only other trivial complaint was not having an info book in the room about the hotel itself. It would be nice to have a map with something other than an evacuation route.

This hotel needs an overhaul. I am staying here now for a soccer tournament, there are several teams here from our soccer club. There have been a numerous amount of small issues that are just annoying. I currently have a soaking wet load of laundry because none of the dryers are working. Ice is available on every other floor, but you can’t find water anywhere unless you pay. Safe in our room is not working. Lamps have burned out lightbulbs, we were given 1 bath towel for 3 people. Several of the usb ports in the lamps are broken.

Honestly, it was a pretty lousy experience. I will say the couple of gals at the front desk were really trying to be accommodating. We reserved two rooms. One was a large suite for a bridal party as they were getting ready for a wedding. We called at 9 am the morning of to make sure everything was ready. The suite had not been cleaned yet, but they assured me everything would be ready for our checkin.
When we arrived in the evening to check in, the room had still not been cleaned. Besides the trash, there was urine in the toilet. I could not have a bridal party staying there and getting ready for the wedding. After about an hour and a half, we had a different suite. This one, while a larger suite, was an executive suite with dim lighting. Again, it was not suitable for bridesmaids to do hair and makeup. We were promised the original suite would be cleaned first thing in the morning and would be ready by 8 am so we could switch rooms back.
I was at the front desk at 7:30, and the front desk had no idea that any of this was talked about. They got a manager (Brian) who came, and they worked on getting the room cleaned.
Around 9 a.m., we were finally able to move back to the original suite.
Now that we pack up, move, unpack, start to get ready for the wedding, it is now 10 am, and we are two hours late from our original timeline of getting ready at 8.
The room also had a broken faucet handle, a microwave that didn't spin and barely worked, netting on the balcony that was zip tied together. A phone that just went to a busy signal if you tried to call the front desk.
Brian said he would take care of it and add points to our account.
So for a room that we purchased using points about 250,000 for two nights. We were gifted back 10,000 points. I've had 10,000 points gifted before for the inconvenience of the shampoo being empty and needing it filled. This was nothing more than a slap in the face after a crappy experience. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Positive: Location and swimming pool Negative: Getting one king bed instead of two queens I booked. The front desk was nice to switch but of course it had a handicap bathroom. This seems to happen a lot lately not just this hotel. It would be nice to get the room you paid for. Why do they do that?

This isn’t a bad hotel, per se. But for the extra cost we paid for a nicer hotel, very disappointing. The breakfast buffet, which is extra , was awful. Cold, tasteless eggs, lukewarm coffee, awful service. The coffee bar was not open, so there was no other option for decent coffee. Good coffee at a hotel ought to be a no brainer. The room is decent, for a 2-3 star hotel. For $230 per night? Not so much. Very unimpressive , especially for Hilton. Additionally , I keep seeing signs for these cookies that they’re known for I guess, but I have seen no evidence that they exist. One more thing: the sliding door to the 7th floor “balcony “ ( don’t ask me why it opens ) does not seal shut so I get to listen to the highway all night.

Update: After posting this review, management reached out to me, aside from responding to the review. I appreciate the prompt response, and frankly I’m quite pleased to know that they cared enough, again, aside from the response on google, to reach out personally. It makes all the difference. And after sitting on it for a day, I could have handled it differently. It has definitely changed my perception of the hotel for the better. I would still like coffee available in the lobby please 🙂
