Wow! Thanks for a great stay. The rooms are nice. The pool was nice (towels well stocked). Staff was very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to anticipate our needs. I love that the lobby is welcoming with lots of comfy seating and living plants. The lobby bathrooms were very clean and well stocked, including a selection of female hygiene products. Lots of unexpected but thoughtful touches for a reasonably priced hotel. Thanks very much. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

My wife was scheduled for surgery on Jan. 8th so rather than drive up in rush hour traffic that morning, I booked a room for Jan. 7th. I chose the Hampton Inn & Suites in Gilbert AZ because it's just 5 minutes from Mercy Hospital and also had better ratings than the two adjacent hotels. Explaining our situation, I was offered the "manager's special rate" that was lower than the senior rate and included breakfast. I requested an upper floor with walk-in shower. Our room on the 3rd floor was comfortable, quiet, and impeccably clean, including bathroom and shower. Hallways, lobby and breakfast areas were also very clean and tidy. The king bed was very comfortable. The furniture. decor, and room in general looked new. HVAC and sink/shower drains functioned properly. The hot breakfast of egg and cheese omelets, bacon and potatoes was very good. Also included the usual do-it-yourself waffle station, juice, coffee, cereal, bakery, and etc. Front desk personnel were polite, very professional and accommodating with special thanks to Jaime and Wes. The hotel was quiet and we had a restful night. Very unusual to report no negatives at all for any hotel stay! Overall, a very pleasant and stress-free experience!

This was our first time staying here and it was great! Service was amazing, I enjoyed the daily text from the front desk asking if we needed anything. The breakfast was always good and clean! Fresh water always up front and a friendly welcome! This hotel is SO CLOSE to so many food options and shopping! This will become our place to stay when we come again.

Overpriced for what you get. Don't let the "newly renovated " fool you! The new renovations feature very cheap fixtures,poor workmanship and design flaws. Our bathtub stopper fell off into my hand, there's no towel bars nor anything to hang your towels on, the balcony door was VERY hard to open and close, in order to plug the coffee maker in, you have to stretch the cord across the sink, the tp holder cost about $2 ...you can't tear a piece off without the whole roll sliding off of the holder onto the dirty floor, the bathroom sink design is flawed as well...you can't wash your hands without ending up with a puddle of water on the counter top and last but not least the mattress was just terrible. It was way too soft. If you have back or hip issues you should definitely find another hotel. I normally do not do reviews, but I felt that others should have a heads up before being overcharged for poor quality.

As for the hot breakfast, it's fine if you like powdered or liquid eggs and way too much salt. I had their scrambled eggs, sausage links and home fries. It was all very salty. We were there for 4 days and only ate the hot breakfast the first day. We ate elsewhere after that.
We were very disappointed and checked out 2 days early.

Room was very clean and overall stay was a bargain. Staff was always polite and professional, and extremely attentive. The free breakfast was great and I like how it varied throughout the week. Will definitely stay here again. Location was close to tons of shopping and restaurants.

This was our second stay here. The first time was excellent; beautiful room, great service, a really great experience. This time, not so much.
We opted for keyless entry through the app. We got in on a late flight and were exhausted with an early morning appointment.
Opened the door to our room and there was a strong odor, similar to urine. Room had a super 8 feel to it.
It seemed clean, but the odor was off putting. The fixtures in the shower were so loose that the water spout turns in a complete circle. When you turn the handle to turn it on, the entire assembly shakes including the spout. We could only get very lukewarm water for bathing.
The entire trip we were racing from one appointment to another. We weren’t going to say anything and just not return but a friend encouraged us to let the hotel know.
They didn’t seem at all interested. Just said to let them know during the stay next time.
There won’t ever be a next time. We might as well just stay at super 8 and save our money. Thanks. No thanks.

The customer service is outstanding Shane from maintenance checking our AC and Kristi at the front desk very professional and courteous.
Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean.
We will definitely stay here again.

They had delicious breakfast and the long term guests were respectful and friendly.
