I think the Glendale location is the best Motel 6 in the Arizona district. It is an older building, but I love the layout and how the rooms face inward. This location is quiet and peaceful, besides the train that occasionally passes by, but that's the perk of staying in old town Glendale. It's almost nostalgic in a weird way. But no crazy neighbors, or nonsense that goes on, everyone minds their own. The service in the office is amazing, and I absolutely love Brianna, I believe was the young receptions name (sorry if I got it wrong, I am unfortunately bad with remembering names, sorry again love!) But she is sweet and attentive, and makes you feel like you are welcomed upon arrival. She was clear with my questions when I had missed a reservation and clarified there would be no issue at all. But besides her, all the employees are just that, all awesome and attentive when it comes to concerns with your stay. They do everything to make it your best stay so you come back. I have yet to have a bad stay here and I will continue to come to this location as I feel safe and don't have to worry about anything except to enjoy having a comfortable, worry-free stay. As far as some of the ugly reviews, yes, there are roaches, and the building is slightly worn out, but that's what you get with an older, historic building in Old Town Glendale and it is not as bad as those reviews make it seem. If you keep your place tidy and food up, you won't have to worry about unwanted guest and the employees would be more then happy to accommodate your concerns. All in all, I will continue to come to this place as it has become my escape and my home. 🙂 Thank you to everyone working at the Glendale location, you have earned it!

The worst hotel experience in my life in just one night and I travel A LOT. This was the first hotel in my journey across the country to be stationed at my new base. I recently had surgery was unable to carry more than 10 lbs. My husband had to move everything out of the car including the cat and her belongings. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was not in uniform and did not show me where my room was or mention the check out time. We went out to celebrate a family's birthday. We got back late and clicked on the link in the email to the Motel 6 site that stated check out was at noon (at most locations). When 11:00am came, there was banging on the door and we let the ladies know we were checking out at noon. They said no check out is at 11. We called the front desk and explained what happened and she agreed we could leave at noon. About 10 minutes later, another banging at the door. We could tell there were additional voices telling us to get out. We explained to the ladies at the door we were allowed to check out at noon by the front desk staff. Mind you the banging gets louder and more disrespectful. About another 15 minutes goes by and the banging happens again. They were so aggressive trying to kick us out of the room even though we kept explaining we were allowed to check out later. Finally, about 5 minutes before noon when we were on our last run to put everything in the car, a cleaning lady was on her cell phone telling us to get out and to leave our things. The conversation got heated and I went downstairs to tell the front desk staff what happened. I walked her through my process of seeing the noon check out time on the Motel 6 policy website. She understood and let the cleaning lady know we were in the right. I explained the check out time was never stated which made me think it was noon like the site stated and the cleaning staff should have known we were given permission to stay until noon because every time they came to act like security, it kept us from getting ready and running out of that place to never return. Oh, let's not forget no toilet tissue upon arrival, stains everywhere including red nail polish on the sheets that I mistakenly thought was blood. Don't do it!!

They show you nice pics online and that’s the hook . Place has locals living there and being load like apartments. If you want sleep good luck . There’s a train that pases I counted 3 times a night that is loud af. Place is falling apart as we speak . Mold everywhere (pics) you go in that’s all you smell , musty room . Only reason I stayed was because I had no choice . Never again !!

If could give zero stars I would lady at front desk Mariana has the most rude and non caring attitude. I was put in a very loud and asked to change rooms. I could hear people yelling, screaming and cursing. She would not give me another room and it was 100 rooms available she said those were reserved. Most like for one night I'm here for three days. She didn't care about the guest that were here already. It's her attitude towards me reason why I won't be back. Bad experience.

I just have to say more if you read up all my reviews I have to say the location is good because it’s in the middle because it was good for me probably not in the best area, but it was convenient for me. The service I have to give two stars because the people at the front desk the two ladies were very nice. I thought the manager he was always helpful until recently., I do not understand why he would not talk to me or explain anything to me and I have to agree with the one review that I did see the ladies are very aggressive like police knocking at your door even before 11 o’clock saying check out I did stay for an extended period of time off and on like I said because of my situation and I knew the policy so I would always try to pay ahead if I was extending there was a couple days that I asked, but I communicated that I would be checking out soon. I just do not understand why I’m all of a sudden DNR and the one housekeeper Bernie just constantly comes banging at your door every 10 minutes and even if you tell her that you spoke with the front desk, she is rude , I just feel like she’s out for people and wants to get certain people in trouble or such things that aren’t true you try to communicate nobody wants to listen. It’s only a couple girls that really care the manager did. I’m not sure what happened. I’m just upset because I really kept the room clean. I really appreciated everybody there and always communicated. Always gave good reviews despite the benefit of the doubt by being treated the way I was the other day and not even being talked to after everything and all the money that I put into there and even referring people!
That’s the crazy thing I have referred people and so don’t listen to the reviews and it’s it’s OK place for the location in the reviews and this is how I was treated !

Don't stay here unless your a drug Addict. Then you'll fit right in. I slept in my clothes because I was afraid to get into the bed. The sheets were never changed from last guest.

Brianna went above and beyond. I was in a rough situation and was totally stressed out and she was so kind and assisted me very quickly and was so sweet and comforting. She made the process so easy and quick. I wish the world had more Brianna’s. I would recommend her to everyone. Her boss should be proud to have an employee like her.
