The first time I came here was for lunch during an event I was attending on a Sunday which turned out is when they are the busiest. We were lucky to be seated rather quickly but our group’s food was delayed making us late. We weren’t upset because the meal was delicious. I had the GF Avocado Toast with eggs over easy.
I do have to say we were surprised when all of our meals were comped by the owner! This establishment is amazing at taking care of their diners!

With that said, I did not have a chance to take a photo or write my review at that time but I had also seen the “Two Good Two Be True” & had planned to return to the them.

I came alone & sat at the bar. I didn’t realize how big the pancakes were but I will say I was pleasantly delighted by the flavors. I ordered GF Lemon Ricotta & Granola Raspberry with chicken sausage & 2 eggs over easy.
It was quite flavorful & filling. I was unable to eat all of it. I would say the Lemon Ricotta was my favorite. Granola Raspberry is definitely for the granola texture lover.

I also love how they have outdoor seating for in between seasons.

Make sure to go on an empty stomach. Either way, I’m certain you will love what you choose!

Friendly staff! We got the churro waffles and I usually don’t like waffles but these were amazing!!! I don’t remember the omelette I got but I kinda mixed 2 of them together to make my own and it came out really good. The homemade salsa was so good! I was surprised how busy it was in the afternoon on a weekday but it’s a great atmosphere with great food!

Wow! Soul Cafe in Scottsdale just blew us away with their incredible breakfast offerings! We arrived at 9 AM on a bustling Saturday morning, expecting a wait, but were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a delightful morning meal.
We decided to try two dishes: the avocado toast and the wet burrito. Let me tell you, both were absolutely phenomenal! The avocado toast was a masterpiece - creamy, perfectly ripe avocado spread generously on artisanal toast, likely topped with just the right amount of seasonings and add-ons to elevate this breakfast staple to new heights.
But the real star of the show was the wet burrito. This behemoth of a breakfast item was a flavor explosion! Wrapped in a soft tortilla and smothered in what I can only imagine was a mouthwatering sauce, every bite was pure bliss. The combination of textures and tastes was simply outstanding.
What really sets Soul Cafe apart is their attention to detail. The food wasn’t just delicious; it was clear that care and expertise went into every aspect of our meal. The presentation was Instagram-worthy, and the flavors were perfectly balanced.
The service matched the quality of the food - attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our coffee cups were never empty, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to ensure we had a great experience.
If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that goes above and beyond, Soul Cafe is the place to be. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Scottsdale, do yourself a favor and start your day here. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

Wonderful dining spot in North Scottsdale! Great food, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Having lived in the area for years, I'm embarrassed to admit that my husband and I only recently discovered this hidden gem. We stopped in for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago and our food was delicious! Went back for a spur of the moment dinner this past Saturday. We each got a different weekend special (Halibut cheeks, crab cakes -- cheddar biscuits for an appetizer). Yum! I've now booked a reservation a month in advance for a small family get together. While the food does not disappoint, the staff really makes the dining experience here stand out relative to other Scottsdale establishments. (Seriously, there's a lot of good food options in Scottsdale.) But the staff at Soul Cafe are remarkable. Both times we have dined here, we have left with the impression that staff love working here, that they know and love the food, and that they are proud to be associated with the level of quality that this cafe offers. The menu is the heart of the cafe, but the soul is their staff! Highly recommend.

What a great example of all the reasons why certain restaurants succeed. Greeted immediately and graciously explained that there is a wait…. But not arrogant about it.
Lots of TV’s at the bar to enjoy sports, viewable from the waiting area.
Pleasant seating areas and a patio area with a misting system. The A/C was perfect… even with the patio wide open and it being 109 outside (THAT is impressive).
Ok, the food. Daaaaang!!
So, so, so good. The green chili sauce wow! Their pancakes are the size of a medium pizza! Eggs, perfect. You have to try each dish to understand. Sincerely, some of the best Mexican food / comfort food ever. They have lower calorie / carb options galore as well.
Service was exceptional. The GM “Anna Marie” was so pleasant, inviting us to come back for the dinner menu!

Really great fun stuff and helpful. However, brioche bun on the hamburger was soft and I'm not a fan of it. Wish they had different options like ciabatta or pretzel buns, but that's not the case here. The chicken salad sandwich was pretty good but not outstanding. The beef salad with the prawns was excellent.

We've been here several times and usually to sit outside, but it was a little chilly today. Really love the doggy menu that they have when you're sitting outside on the patio. If you got a pat, they're going to love what you can serve them from the menu.

What a terrific find in the North Valley! My spouse and I have been traversing the breakfast options across PHX for years and only recently stumbled upon this gem. Granted we went on a weekday in the late morning, but there were tons of seating options and a mellow vibe in the restaurant. The menu includes interesting twists on breakfast standards, with meat and non-meat options that will appeal. My omelet (veggie and chicken) offered an option to add green chili. I imagined it would be more like green salsa, but I was wrong - the green chili is the real deal - tasty, meaty, and a great addition to the omelet. The coffee came out great too. We highly recommend Soul Cafe! Prices are on par with many other breakfast spots (maybe a touch higher, but only by a few bucks).
