I really love going before or after classes. David and Shannon are genuinely incredible and sweet people as well as the employees. Some of my favorite drinks are the French toast latte with oat milk (no extra charge for milk substitutes guys! Unlike other places that charge $2 to do a milk substitute) and the food is always amazing. Usually I get the overnight oats because they’re super filling and genuinely so delicious. They usually have different desserts and bagels, and they’ve got some incredible sandwiches and other meals (highly recommend the breakfast burrito).

They also have a section for those who wish to sell their art. Crochet trinkets, amazing pottery, paintings, press on nails, and business cards for other places.

They are big supporters of workers rights, so I highly recommend supporting them over Starbucks down the street.

Why pay $7 for a gross cup of mid coffee when you can get a chocolate strawberry latte with no charge oat milk and add in lyons mane mushroom for energy?

Great spot to work remote and support a cool business model

First impression: it looked like a small hole in the wall of a shopping strip mall, but it's large and open inside! I was greeted with a big warm smile from Shannon and with a cute little joke I found out she and her husband, David, who was making drinks next to her, are the owners. With a great deal of pride, she explained the concept of Beanchain to me. They opened about a year ago as a worker-directed (co-op) business plan. The idea is to help workers out of poverty by giving them ownership, a say, and profit sharing. This is the only location so far, but I hope to see great things in their future.

My pumpkin chai, with a shot of espresso, was delicious and warmed me to my core. The avocado croissant was simple and yet so good. My taste buds were dancing with the combo of earthy avocado, juicy tomato, and the sweet balsamic glaze.

I enjoyed the comfy couches and coffee table near the book shelves, but there were many tables and booths throughout the space. Each seat has a power outlet and QR code to order without stepping away from your laptop. A 330sq ft conference room is open for a group to rent. Through another door is a quiet space with individual workspaces, but the whole area can also be rented by the hour as well as three private offices for rent. Shelves and tables are filled with items for sale by local artisans, and there's even a small tattoo studio in one of the back office spaces.

I live 30 minutes away and came to check out out thanks to a YELP Elite Squad event. On the drive, I was thinking, what a long drive to try out a place I'll never return to. As soon as I was interacting with Shannon I knew this was a place that I would drive back to and support again.

So amazing 😍 beautiful environment and tremendous tasting coffee. I love the work space available and the collaboration with other artist. And their mission to end poverty and love for animals will keep me coming back again and again.

Have you ever woke up in the morning and just knew in your bones that the day would play out like building an IKEA shelf with no Allen wrench in sight? On those days, you drag yourself to a coffee house and hope for courage.

Here at Beanchain, they'll give you more than courage, they'll give you a good cup of joe. You can feel good about spending your hard earned money here too because this business is worker-directed. You can even invest in Beanchain on their website ($100 Minimum Investment, 14.5% interest annually, three-year term) as well.

The two of us ordered a Blueberry Muffin Latte, Strawberries and Cream Latte, The Picnic sandwich, and The Breakfast Sandwich. My meal of The Picnic sandwich and the strawberries and cream latte was great. Both drinks tasted exactly as advertised. Loved the lattes but my sandwich was pretty soggy right from the start.

It's a great space. There's a lot of seating, lots of outlets, there are some workspaces and conference rooms you can book, and there's a tattoo parlor off to the side. Feel good supporting local here. Shop Hours are 6AM - 6PM daily.

They also made it to the Yelp Top 100 Places to Drink list in 2024. Very cool!

I came here initially because I wanted a coffee different from all the chain shops. Saw this one, gave it a try, and I've been blown away ever since. It's truly the best coffee I've ever had and I say that every time I drink one. I'm always so sad when it's gone! The atmosphere is delightfully decorated and I love all the attachments (tattoo parlor, the homemade gifts, the reading area, etc.) The staff is also amazing - the owners are the best and I always love that they seem so happy to help me. They even know my name which is so touching. I'd give this place 100 stars if possible, but overall it's truly just a magnificent shop. I hope it stays open forever.

Seriously sooo good! Normally make my coffee at home to get it the way I like and tried their French toast latte and was AMAZED!! it is sooo darn good!! Sweet with still the caffeine taste and a deliciously cinnamon taste! The service was exceptional! My family got a coffee they didn't have the taste for and the staff very graciously made us a new one at no charge! They were great explaining what products were and the personal side of the business helping the community! The environment was so nice and is great for getting work or studies done!!

I can't believe I've never been here! This place is so cute and I love their concept- they're a worker directed coffee shop and bakery with a shared workspace, library, and have products from small businesses for sale. Everything is so cute! I got the day oats (which were delicious) and the Chider (an apple chai). The chider may have changed my life! It was DELICIOUS. I'll definitely be back before fall ends to get it again and wish I could get a drink like this all year! The workers were all really nice and helpful. I also got some of yesterday's treats for 50% off- I love that they do this! I got a delicious treat for a sweet deal and it reduces food waste!

I’ve been here at every stage, from meeting the owners informing me of the new shop, the coffee cart while it was being built, the indoor coffee cart, and finally the grand opening and each time has been a pleasure. Everyone is nice and easy to talk to, the drinks have depth to them and can also be very simple, prices are right, and I love what they stand for! It’s a great place for grab and go coffee and pastries but also great for people needing a space to work.
