Room was very dated, smelled, and was loud. Every conversation going by outside was just like it was in the room.||Room did not feel secure as lock only sort of worked. I would not have slept if my husband and dog hadn't been with me. But linens were clean and it gave us the respite we needed driving cross country. Pet fee was $25 and check in was smooth.

DON'T STAY HERE if you want to keep your money. I made a reservation for 8 nights. We walk into the room to discover numerous cigarette burn holes in both of the bed comforters, the bathroom door didn't even shut no matter how hard I tried to pull it closed, the shower had busted tile on the wall, long black hairs on the tub, they didn't even try to clean it. the sink stopper and rod was broken, it kept shutting and filling with water. Not only that, it's obviously apparent that they cater to drug addicts. As soon as we went into our room, we heard loud talking right next to the door, and we look out to discover two men loitering right in front of the door and being really disruptive, they were obviously on something.

I decided I wanted a refund, I was given an option to try another room. Next room was just as bad, reeked of cigarette smoke despite us not wanting a smoking room. Mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom. Didn't even stay in that room for 20 seconds before walking back out.

I went to get a refund and was told that couldn't happen due to no manager being available. I called customer care and couldn't get to anybody. I got a bad feeling and discovered days inn charged me 365 DOLLARS on top of my 500 dollar reservation despite that extra charge not reflecting on my receipt, and the man at the front desk told me they don't do any security deposits and he didn't know why I was charged extra money like that.

They took nearly 900 dollars from me for an utter dope hole despite not staying there even an hour. It's been days now and I still haven't gotten my money back.

Stay at the Super 8 next door. It's way better for a similar price point.

I thought I had a video but I guess it didn't get saved. I don't expect much from Wyndham anymore in the US actually not much either outside but the fact that they charged 90 dollars plus tax because it's on Andy Devine and route 66, is still ridiculous for this property and Wyndham franchisor, Shiplin Patel should pull this site or fire his team who approved, although it would probably just go to another name or independent. I started off by going to the wrong one but when I ended up at this one I said well the lobby is updated compared to the other so hopefully the rooms will be okay. I was wrong, as the lobby and employee area is updated but the rooms and decor isn't, they even upgraded the room locks to digital key but decided not to fix the door and frame, so no real security, access for rodents and anyone with a slight push. I normally stay at Hilton when I'm in the area but they were booked up and I have Wyndham diamond, with that being said I have no problem with a 2 star property as I've stayed at some nice independent ones and even some really great hostels that have kept up even with dated furniture and no upgrades at least they keep it clean and that's ultimately what your looking for no matter the price or the stars. You choose a chain often because you expect consistent standards. The video does better justice then the photos but beyond the dated broken down furniture and a whole bunch of other things, if I see roaches or signs of bed bugs which I didn't stay to see if the bed bugs were hidden. When I saw the roaches I left the room went to the front desk and asked for a refund after showing the video and pictures, when she said she couldn't see anything I took her up to the room after the"guy" came back so she could leave the desk, I mean I had just booked and only was staying for less than 5 hours but they refused and offered me spray, so I left and took my 90 dollar loss. Lol, didn't even offer to spray themselves but I would rather sleep outside or my car. Now I know that some people are forced to live with bed bugs or roaches for whatever reason and even so forced to pay rent to do so. Yet, it should never be required of any hotel/motel guest. I also will mention that I contacted Wyndham as I booked directly and of course as the franchisor they simply took my information and forwarded to management/owner and they refused to offer the refund. Also the front desk agent said she couldn't offer a refund as she had no authority and the"management", would be in the morning and be given my information. I never received a any contact but weeks later I received an email cc'ed from my inquiry with Wyndham hotel franchise group and the manager/owner started they would not be offering a refund as it showed I didn't check out plus they sprayed or offered to spray, something along those lines. I guess the front desk agent didn't close out my folio and she didn't see the in the email where Wyndham noted the call made to the front desk on my behalf 10 minutes after my folio created check in time. They also noted in the email I stayed beyond my diamond benefit late check out, which the property doesn't honor. Although I was on a plane way before 11 am and landed at my destination by the alleged late check out, glad, I locked and froze that card with the bank denying any more charges, in case they tried to run it for any additional charges.

The staff was super friendly, but that is where the positive stops. ||I use CLC lodging so my employees don’t have to have their won credit cards for booking, however is a first time experience they demanded my personal card for ā€œincidentalsā€. They don’t offer any room service or anything like that, but was told it was in case I damage the room. I got to my room and not sure how I possible could have damaged the room more, even if i did bring 150 for my closest friends to party…. ||the furnace.was old, dated, and lots of stains, chips, pealing finish. The walls had unpainted patches all over, The light didn’t even have a shade. The room light was just a light stand with a bulb, The door barely latched, so I was just hoping a breeze didn’t blow it open (see the picture of the gap in the door you can see through). Random something stuck on the bathroom floor, The bottom hinge on the bathroom door was not even attached. The door was dangling by the top hinge. Spots of missing paint in the tub. Etc ETC, ETC. ||What really made me pause was the spots on the ceiling. it looks like a CSI show’s blood splatter. See the pictures, and you will think the same thing. I did the best I could to get pictures with the one bulb light across the room. I was tired and so I just told myself it wasn’t blood…. And slept with a gun under my pillow. ||I did tell the staff and they told me that they know the rooms are really bad, but the hope to have a new management that will try to fix some things.

Writing this at 3:30 am...the noise has been nonstop in this place all night. Not sure if this is a meth motel or what- stomping upstairs and loud talking all night long. Just needed a safe peaceful place to sleep, but it seems like 50 bucks doesn't get you that here. I hope my car is still here in a few hours. Convenient location to the truck stop for gas and coffee so I can make a quick getaway as soon as it's light out.

First, the owner and the staff are fantastic. It’s easy to get in and out of towing a trailer and they allow pets for an extra $25 per night. Second, it’s an older outdated hotel. I felt safe and the sheets and room were clean aside from staining on the carpet and the room smelling like stale cigarettes but again, older and outdated. The ac and water pressure works great and NO BUGS. Definitely a great budget place to stay. Oh and the bed and pillows are super soft and don’t leave my back aching like I had slept on a board

We reached midnight and on arrival they mentioned they don’t have the booked room as there was water spilled. They asked us to provide alternate rooms however they had only one bedroom. We just had to head out home without stopping at the hotel.

The hotel is run down and horrible, the rooms smell bad and are very unkempt. The first room we were given had no water in the sink and the second had a clogged toilet. Considering the damage it is not even cheap.
