Out of the way BBQ place. The food was good but unfortunately most of the staff were out sick so it took over an hour to get our food. I wish they told us that when we walked in as we were starving. But the staff were apologetic and nice. They sold ice cream and nice 2nd hand clothing, etc as well. Indoor/outdoor seating.

I believe what I had was called the barbecue platter. It consisted of pulled pork, tri-tip, and brisket. And it was absolutely delicious! I tasted the two barbecue sauces that were provided. One of them was a sweet apple barbecue sauce that was meant for the pulled pork. And the other was their house spicy mustard-based barbecue sauce. Both of them were absolutely delicious on the meats they were intended for, but I will say that I ate most the meat without any sauce because the meat was so incredibly flavorful and juicy, in and of itself!

Coleslaw was good, it tasted like there was a multi vinegar used in it. Made it a little more interesting, and I will flat out say I'm a coleslaw snob, and this was good.
The mac and cheese was not to my liking. You may love it, but it just isn't the style that I usually like.

All that being said, I will definitely Be going back to Dirty South BBQ House!

Very laid-back atmosphere and interesting decor. Lots of small boutique items. Very delicious brisket with unique sweet bbq coleslaw. Side of mac and cheese was great.

Good food, but neglected to tell us that they were cripplingly understaffed until after we had been waiting for our order for almost an hour. If I'd known, we would have tried on a different day.

Absolutely some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time! Fall apart, melt in your mouth, full of flavor! The brisket and tri tip are a must have! Staff was very friendly. We will be coming back!

Stopped in last night to pick up dinner to go and so glad I did. The gentleman That took my order was polite and very helpful By letting me know the two items they were out of for the evening. Service was awesome and the atmosphere had a great vibe to it. The brisket and barbecue sauce was spot on, absolutely delicious. I ate the entire order of fried okra on the drive back to Foothills and the mac & cheese went great with the brisket. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend a visit to Dirty South barbecue house

They were right. You can't beat their meat. The brisket was some of the best I've ever had. Their sauce was delicious. The okra was great. We loved it and will be coming back.

This lil place is right off the road and, unless you made plans to come here you would just drive right on by not knowing what the building was. However, when you walk it it’s a different atmosphere. The staff each time I’ve been in (been in twice) have been great, the little shop has some neat nick knacks and the food is decent.
From my experience- their pulled pork sandwich is great. I’m not a fan of the slaw they add to it, however. I was excited to try their potato salad (forgot to take a pic) but was really disappointed. It had so much onion in it that it really took away from the rest of the dish. I couldn’t take more than a few bites. The baked beans were okay- I was expecting more of a brown sugar taste, I think, and the tiny pieces of onion? And not sure what else was in it but those also threw me off so I was not ready for the current flavor. Mac and cheese was delicious! I really enjoyed this! Hush puppies were also pretty good. First time I was there, the sweet tea was just as you’d expect. However, the second time it did not taste right. Had almost like a chemical taste to it. Took one sip and tossed it. Both times I came here, I ordered to go and ate and drank when I got home so I was unable to say something at the restaurant.
But I’ve heard others say they enjoyed this place a lot so I may try it one more time and order new items
