We stayed at the Needles KOA overnight on a trip from CA to Santa Fe, NM. We arrived around 5:30 pm and left around 8:45 am. Upon arrival, check in was smooth. The clerk remembered our reservation and was very helpful. The park was clean and organized. We had full hook-ups and everything worked. They have a nice pool that we used and the water was clean and refreshing. They provided a nice inforamtion brochure that was sponsored by local businesses. It was helpful. My only complaint is the wifi. I was able to get and keep it on my laptop, but it would not stay on my I pad. I ended up using my hotspot instead. Verizon signal was good. We traveled with a group, and they had the same wifi issues. Overall, I would recommend and stay again. It is a great resting point for our trips out of CA. As far as resort camping, this probably isn't the place.

We loved this small quaint KOA. We were on a road trip to Arizona with our dog, I loved how easy it was and how cute our cabin was. The pool was too cold but it looked clean. The recreation room was the cherry on the top. We spent our night watching VCR movies with a puzzle and snacks. Small library too. Staff was great!

Beautiful serene site, easy to get to from the highway. Felt safe when we arrived after hours. Map layout is straightforward and pull through sites are nice with some privacy of bushes and a picnic table. Well kept, clean and quiet!

Very good campground to stop at when traveling through on I-40. Easy access to and from the highway. Nice clean restrooms and a full service laundry with plenty of machines. A playground with swings. The pool is quite refreshing on a hot day and relaxing after a long travel day. Friendly staff to help you check in and knowledgeable of local restaurants.

Are we visiting the same location? How does this KOA get such good reviews? The only thing I can think of is that the people working here are friendly.

This location is absolutely disgusting and the owners obviously stopped caring a long time ago.

Mold, dirt and lack of maintenance everywhere. The cabins don't have a fridge like all the other KOA cabins we've been to. The AC unit was filthy. The restrooms are disgusting and need a lot of repairs, or should just be replaced at this point. The showers consist of two shower curtains and they lack space to put any clothes or toiletries. Mold everywhere. The laundry room is disgusting and the dryers don't work properly. We've had to dry our clothes twice. The Wi-Fi barely works and we used our own most of the time.

Skip this location and go anywhere else. This was the worst KOA we've been to so far.

Big clean campground, leveled spots full hookups, good Verizon and T mobile services. Very nice lady in the registration office. Pretty sunrise, pool and dog park. Near I 40 , u can hear the road noise.

Freeway close and all RV sites are pull through. The Internet is S L O W which is a common complaint that I have with KOA campgrounds. The franchisor clearly has no minimum requirements in place for Internet. They don’t care about guests, only their franchise fee and royalty. It’s 2024 and the Internet is as essential as water, power and full hookups. Shame on HQ for not enforcing or inspecting their parks. You should have a secret shopper program that reports on all amenities including Internet speed. But that would require a nominal expenditure in my experience with franchise organizations is many, like KOA, have POOR standards.
