After reading other reviews, I reserved a room for three nights toward the end of Spring Training Baseball Season. I was not disappointed - the room was comfortable, clean, well maintained and priced fairly. All the doors to the rooms have been replaced with very sturdy metal doors, jams and electronic locks that actually operate. Granite counter tops had been installed in the bathroom and adjoining dressing area. A good sized (not mini) refrigerator with table and chairs were also in my room. The WI-FI connection was fast and uninterrupted. My favorite observation was noticing that the owner had filled in the small (about 14' x 28') swimming pool, and was planting a garden where the pool had been, with another garden going in just outside of the fenced pool area. Additionally, the owner was air drying the bed sheets each day, by hanging them on the fence that surrounded the former pool area. I found these two practices to be very thoughtful - nobody was going to use the pool, its not that kind of resort hotel, and air drying bed sheets in a area with very warm temperatures and low humidity just makes economic sense and you end up with a nice sheet on which to sleep. This hotel is very well run - I commend the owner and management team - keep it up.

I drove from Portland Oregon to Mesa for spring training and I was so glad to find this motel. I stayed for 11 days and have no complaints. The room was clean, comfortable and was close to everything I needed. Sloan Park was so close and the hwy entrance was close by too. I travel with my kitchen supplies, so it was nice to have the counter, sink, larger fridge and microwave. I also travel with my french press, coffee and cream, so not having a coffee maker was not an issue. I will definitely return to this spot next year!

Room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, but besides that very clean. Checked in around 2 AM and left early the next day. Room included a fridge and stove which would be nice if you need that. Very quiet all night long.

No deposit or credit card needed, which is why I chose to stay here since I was very low on money at the time. Paid 75 down in cash for the night.

Great experience, would gladly stay here again if need be.

The location is good and the price is modest. The manager and his wife are very nice.It is unfortunate that the others guests seemed to be of an off color nature. The room was clean but cramped. The bed and table were a bit tipsy and led to some food spillage. This is a good place to stay if you aren't too stuck up about what the other guests are doing in the next room.

My room was clean, comfortable, and bigger than I was expecting. In my opinion it was really more like an L shaped studio apartment. As I did not need a coffee maker, cookware, etc. I did not ask if they were available. However, there are a number of restaurants and stores within an easy walking distance. I only stayed for a couple of nights on a weekend getaway and the location was nicely suited for my needs. I would have liked a bathtub--just a personal preference--but it was nice that the shower head was up high. (I'm 6 ft, 3 in. tall.) A deadbolt lock would have made it a little more secure, but I really did not have any concerns along those lines.

I needed a last minute Motel for a quick trip from my home in Las Vegas to Phoenix, AZ. My mother-in-law uses this motel every time she comes thru the area, and recommended it to me. The staff called me about an hour before I got there to confirm I was coming and when to expect me to check-in. Even though I was arriving late in the evening they were going to be there for me to check-in. The gentleman checking me in was super friendly and made the process easy. Even offered me complimentary bottled water for my stay. The room was very cozy, and it looked like they re-modeled the entire room. The carpets looked new, the tile in the kitchen area and bathroom looked new, even the shower had this black and white marble slabs on the walls. Very impressive for a small motel room. The check-out process was simple and the same gentleman checked me out and I believe his wife was outside cleaning the other rooms. She was very friendly and said good morning. Over all great experience for my 1 night stay!

clean, friendly👍, close to everything, very helpful, drive up, and very affordable! we highly recommend this motel! full size fridge, looks to be recently renovated. Absolutely the best sports bar ever, right across the street! really great location, really spotless.

Pleasant check in by Husband and Wife managers.||Free bottle of water offered at check-in. || ||Very clean room and bathroom.||Clean bed linen smelt of laundry liquid/fabric softner - just like at home!||||TV, Microwave, Large Fridge/Freezer, "Kitchenette", desk and table to sit at, Free Wifi, Free Parking, coin-operated self-laundry.||||Many power outlets throughout the room, kitchenette and bathroom.||No iron in-room, not sure if one available from reception?||||10 minute walk to nearby stores. ||10/15 minute walk to Light Rail train stop - 35 min train ride into Downtown Phoenix.||||Quiet area, minimal traffic noise. I slept well all nights during my stay.||Neighboring guests were also quiet which was a bonus!||||I look forward to returning.
