I cannot remember the last time I stayed in a Sheraton but this one made me want to consider it every single city. It was the only conference hotel available. The facilities were clean and very well designed. The bar area was spacious with seating of all kinds. The bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The veteran guy is a real asset. The location is super convenient with the Arizona Center and Convention Center close by as well as being less than 10 minutes from the airport. It's a superb choice and really contributed to my enjoyment of the city.

The hotel didn't always have hot water, sometimes only room temperature water for showering. There wasn't a microwave in the room - come on, a microwave would be nice. Service was below average, staff wasn't friendly, they should at least pretend to like their job. For the high end price, the service and the rooms are below industry standards. On a positive note, the bed and location of the hotel are good.

It's fine, a quality hotel with a conference center. It was nice to stay at the same place my conference was at. My room had a great view of downtown.

I've certainly had better times sleeping though. The bed was average and the pillows were below average. I also had to unplug the phone to have an outlet for my charger. When will hotels make sure there is a free outlet next to the bed?

My company recently hosted an event in downtown Phoenix and reserved rooms at three large hotel chains, with this being one of them. After visiting peers at the other chains, I made the best choice by staying at the Sheraton.

I took Lyft to get there from the airport so I can’t comment on the parking but it looked like valet had you covered. Front desk staff were friendly and got me checked in quickly. I only stay at Marriott locations during company events and therefore have “baby status” with the chain but I was still treated like a top tier guest.

The room was clean and worked great for my week long stay. We reserved several floors in the hotel and each was fully staffed, clean and there were absolutely zero issues.

We had the hotel cater breakfast and lunch for the majority of the week and the meals were excellent. A little heavy on breakfast tacos but it still worked.

The common gathering area downstairs and the secured lounge area were also perfect and held all of our motley crew.

This is my second stay at this location in the past couple of years and I would definitely come back again.

Hotel is located right down town, very walkable to a number of restaurants and shops.

Hotel staff was very kind, and helpful.

Rooms were a great size, very clean, and had a great view.

The gym was very nice - lots of equipment, and machines, super clean.

The pool area was lovely, lots of sun and shade depending what you’re looking for and a full service bar with food as well.

The lobby restaurant fills up quick, and doesn’t take walk-ins for dinner on weekends - make sure to make a reservation, the food is fabulous!

Came here to speak at a conference and wow was I impressed. This customer service of the AV team was outstanding. They were helpful and so thoughtful, with great ideas and all the gear we needed, such as a choice of different microphone types and laptop configurations. It was so nice not worrying about AV- I could just focus on my presentation. Many thanks! If we ever have another conference here, I'll be the first to sign up.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix. Normally when I stay in hotels attached or adjacent to a convention center the hotel has such a built in clientele that they do not keep up the hotel. Not true at this hotel.|The rooms were nicely appointed and in good condition as well as really clean. The towels were also in much better condition than I would have expected. For some reason I could also get hot water almost instantly, that may be because of my room location but really, instant.|The highlight of this hotel is the lobby. It is designed for people to enjoy and collaborate, not with board games like a Moxy, but there are nooks to sit in or work and a large common area with a bar, and people really congregate there, all day. I’ve never seen anything quite like this lobby before, it’s really a place to hang out for a bite, a coffee, or a drink. They even have a little alcohol store where you can buy a high quality bottle of wine (you cannot consume it in the bar area) think Caymus and similar brands.|The workout area is large and well equipped.|The staff is friendly, especially given the size of the hotel and the number of guests checking in and out all day.

Wow, what a surprisingly excellent experience my wife and I had at this Sheraton. We have stayed in multiple Sheraton properties over the years and this is a huge upgrade. The previous Sheraton properties were completely good places to stay, but it sounds like they are changing the Sheraton hotels, and this property is one of the first to see the changes.||We has asked for an early arrival, and everything was ready to go as soon as we arrived. I walked into the beautiful lobby and was greeted with a smile by multiple people at the front desk. Within minutes I had keys to the room and was heading to park the car.||We arrived to a very clean and nice room. Everything was in its place and ready for us to relax for the night. We went out to dinner and returned later to get some rest for our trip home the next day. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked great, the bathroom well appointed, and overall a great room.||There was an issue with the parking garage when we arrived, so we asked the front desk before leaving how to leave the garage. They knew exactly how we needed to leave the garage, and all worked perfectly.||The welcoming nature of everything from the lobby to the front desk to the bar and room was excellent. If this is how Sheraton is rebranding and changing, I’m all for it!
