Came for breakfast the other day, and the place wasn't that busy. There were only four other tables in the whole restaurant, three of which already had their food. After waiting to be sat for 15 minutes, we just sat ourselves. And it took another 20 minutes for someone to come to our table to take our order. The wait staff seems either overworked or just doesn't want to work there anymore. After 35 minutes, we got our food, and at least it seemed like the cooks in the kitchen still cared because the food was good. The chicken fried steak was definitely in my top five. The cinnamon roll french toast was unique and good as well. I'd come back for the food. I'm just glad we weren't in a hurry or needed to get somewhere.

I had a fantastic experience at Black Bear Diner in Eloy, AZ! It was our first time visiting, and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly pleasant, and the place was spotless, which really set the tone for a great meal. Service was fast, and Amanda was a huge help—she walked me through the menu and gave great recommendations, making sure I picked out exactly what I wanted. Even though the kitchen staff was new, the food came out quickly and tasted amazing. Everything was delicious, and I couldn't have asked for a better first visit. Highly recommend!

The food was not good at this location. I enjoy Black Bear Diner very much. This is the first time i have ever experienced anything like this with them. I ordered the tri-tip and shrimp. The meat was barely warm when it came out. The shrimp was warm on the outside but still uncooked on the inside (cold, slimmy, and clear). Service wasn't the best. I was never checked on again after the meal was brought out to me. Ignored at one point by a waitress. I did mention the food to an employee (gentleman with tattoos and glasses). Showed him the shrimp, and I got an apology along with, "he will inform the cooks." It doesn't seem fair that I had to pay full price for a half eatable meal. It's a shame because I really enjoy eating at black bear diner. I'll never return to this location.

This is definitely a comfort food restaurant. Excellent omelets, huge pancakes, assorted sides, and reasonable prices. It's a truck stop so fuel and large bathrooms are available as well as trucker supplies. Importantly, the coffee is great! They provide as many refills as you wish, and serve it cheerfully. That's important to a tired driver.

Note: the biscuits are gynormous.

Obviously lots of parking and it's right next to the highway. The Black Bear restaurant chain began in the Pacific Northwest,and moved down the west coast and is headed east across Arizona, Texas,and into the Southland. Not all Black Bear restaurants are truck stops.

It was our first time going here since we moved to AZ city. We always waited a hour in Phoenix for our favorite spot and we assumed it would be amazing out here. We were wrong 😑

We walked in nobody was at the front to greet us. Party of 5 and we got seated towards the back. As we walked past dirty tables, we arrived at the table. Server took a bit to come greet and get our drinks. The food took over 1 and half to arrive. The bacon was burnt, so were the hash browns. The French toast was not even cooked…our daughters chicken tenders were so hard to bite into.

We were so disappointed 😔 we had to request the manager. Kayla was nice enough to help us out. She paid for our whole tab and provided a $10 Bear gift card to come back to try them again.

Our feedback would be to get a new cook in the kitchen because he did horrible.

Servers maybe come back and check in on your tables. The bus boy could of cleaned up a bit more…there was dirty plates everywhere.

Even the couple next to use walked out.

Absolutely wonderful!! If you’re looking for good breakfast food, this is the place! The food was fresh and presented elegantly, the service was fast, and reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend!

The food came to the table SO quickly!! I had the open faced turkey sandwich and my dd had a BLT. The servers were friendly. The diner just recently opened, so there were many extra people there doing training. But very organized.

The service and atmosphere was on point. Kayla was my server and really made a point to connect with all of us sitting at the counter. It took a little long to get the food but once I got it and tasted it, I was pleasantly impressed. I’m definitely coming back again!
