The place was clean, quiet and very inviting. The beds were cozy. No complaints.. the only thing I would have loved to have to complete the experience would have been a little campfire. Overall it was perfect.. clear instructions, good WiFi.. basic amenities and then some!

We had a great experience at the strawberry inn! We stayed two nights in cottage 15, the two bedroom option. We lucked out with the playground right in front of our cottage which our son loved. The cottage was supplied with a Keurig, Keurig pods, kitchen dishes, and a full size fridge/freezer so we could enjoy lunch and leftovers in the cabin. We also brought up Keurig hot chocolate pods to have in the evening. |We enjoyed coffee each morning on our balcony watching for the elk, which we saw plenty of both days! |There was a few recommendations from the website and previous guests that we wanted to try. The Windmill coffee was a short walk around the corner with great service and delicious coffee. We sampled many different empanadas at the pie bar for a late breakfast early lunch which we also loved. |And of course we had pizza at the Old Country Inn, and we highly recommend that too. Being the first weekend of November we were unsure what the weather would bring but it was wonderfully chilly in the morning and evening and just right during the day for Saturday. Sunday brought not only hail but a little sprinkle of snow which was quite exciting for us Phoenix people. |For hikes, we did the WaterWheel Trail, the Tonto Bridge and the railroad tunnel off rim road. All were doable by our adventurous 9 year old who had a blast. ||We gave our trip a 10/10 and highly recommend to all!

We stopped on our drive thru AZ and decided to book one night. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were wonderful and so soft. We could hear the neighbors, so use the ear plugs provided or pick another type of room. We stayed on first floor of inn with room on each side. Early check in would have been nice with out paying extra. We arrived at 3:15 pm and had to wait till 4 pm to get the code via email to get in room. No staff on sight. Cute small town with a couple restaurants and bars.
