Review of Black Bart’s Steakhouse – A Good Experience with Some Flaws

We dined at Black Bart’s Steakhouse in Flagstaff with a large party of 12, and overall, it was a decent experience, though not without its flaws. The atmosphere was lively, and the service stood out as one of the highlights. The team went above and beyond what you’d expect from a typical restaurant, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal.

Unfortunately, a couple of the steaks in our group were not cooked correctly, which was a bit disappointing. However, the staff was very accommodating in addressing the issue, which we appreciated. If the food had been just a bit more on point, this would have easily been a five-star experience.

Despite the minor setback with the steaks, the service and overall effort from the team made a strong impression. If you're looking for a place with good service and a fun atmosphere, Black Bart’s is still worth a visit. Hopefully, next time the food will match the level of hospitality!

This place has not changed one bit since I started going here as a child! I mean that in the best way since restaurant dining has generally gotten worse in recent years. I was skeptical going back but just so pleased with how this gem has been perfectly preserved in time. Everything is impeccable with amazing service and melt-in-your-mouth steaks.

What a gem!!! If you're ever in the area, this restaurant is a must see. I had THE BEST time here as did my husband and kids! The food was pricey, yes, but given the entertainment factor it is well worth it and then some! I knew there were singing waiters and a pianist but this was next level!!! Apparently I love live musicals because I couldn't get enough- I freaking LOVED it! The food was good but the entertainment and talent were GOLDEN!!!! 100 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I wanted to start off by saying that from the moment I walked in, I felt like everyone had this great positive attitude! This is a restaurant where the waiters and waitress and even the host, come up to a small stage with a piano player & sing together, and perform. It’s actually so refreshing and beautiful to showcase talent, my family LOVED this place! My son was loving the music and thought it was so cool how our waiter was performing and then also waiting on us and it was like a hidden talent! It was a great time, I do want to say I love the indoor decor and vibe very western style and they have a informative paragraph on Mr. black Bart on the back of the menu, very nice…
The food we got the steak of course, it was great cooked to perfection and seasoned well they cook all steaks over an oak wood fire grill!
The garlic bread and sourdough rolls were great, the sides were great especially the twice baked potato!
Didn’t get a chance to try their desserts, maybe next time as we WILL BE returning to this establishment. So cool!

If I could leave 10 stars I would. Food, service, ambiance, was EVERYTHING. John was our server and was extremely attentive and kind, and knew the menu well. We both got the ribeye with the twice baked potato, and the fried ice cream for dessert. The perfect hole in the wall Western experience, with amazing decor as well.

The food amazing quality and flavor! The ambiance is a just phenomenal. The servers sing and I do not mean in a corny way but are your entertainment! They were all up there singing grease and beauty and beast and then individual songs as well no teleprompter either. All the while providing prompt excellent service. Definitely will be back when passing through or in the area and recommend to everybody and anybody. The prices are not unreasonable when you consider all the food and entertainment! Reservations a must but was easy as calling them.

Started out good, ran into some issues with a meal but they resolved it. Overall the food was okay with okay drinks. The singing entertainment was different for us but enjoyable. So not bad.
