Beautiful location. Well-kept park. Although it is right in town, which is so convenient, and there is a bit of road noise, the six elk wandering through the camp inspired the 5 star review!

We enjoyed this campground September 2024. Quiet stay during the week. Very clean campground, clean bathrooms & showers and pool area. We enjoyed the use of the pool every afternoon when we returned from the ORV trails in the area. Amazing area to visit. This campground was a great location for town of Payson, a visit to Pine and Strawberry and the ORV trails. Be sure to checkout a sunset at the park downtown “green valley park”.

Nice spots with some full timers throughout. Dirt roads are tight so I would not bring in a huge motor home. Plus is that it’s right in town if you don’t want to cook.

I liked this place for families. Although they don't have a playground, their restrooms and showers are nice and it's close to the stores. We slept in a tent, and it was very loud all night because the Campground is close to the road. Also, the sites are close together so we had kids running into our site throughout the day. There's not much they can do about that but just an FYI if you're used to having your own space.

Staff were very friendly, sites were clean and the restrooms were clean. Although in the middle of the day they are hot inside. I gave it 3 stars because the sites are extremely close together, they pack people in. We had a tent site and our neighbors were so close. You really must love thy neighbor! You can hear everything. And if your neighbors have kids and don’t have any campground etiquette they will be running all through your site. We unfortunately will not be back.

My in laws come here to stay often when they are visiting us from out of town. We do visits them while they are there. Sadly the playground is closed but they do have a swimming pool for when the weather permits it. They will supply you with a fire ring to have a campfire when there are no fire restrictions. They have rv and tenting spots. Dumpster is near the entrance. They provide wifi through the whole site. Full hookups, dumping and water refills available. You are really close to your neighbors but thats to be expected with an in town campground. Although you are in town when you are in the campground you don’t feel you are.

It's a clean RV Resort, however they should not accept RV's with slides on both sides. Extremely narrow spots. I only have 2 feet past my steps once extended and no place to put chairs next to my RV. No chance to use my awnings. Slides on both side are touching trees. My chairs are in back of the RV and it's tough to get to them as the slope is narrow and slippery loose gravel. Great place for old RV's with no slides.
